I have watched documentaries on the giant Japanese Hornets for years. I never heard them called " murder hornets " until the stories of them being in the US began. I'd love to know who coined that phrase and ask them WTF they were thinking.
More appropriate might be to call a certain Giant Mayor of a major metropolitan city and call him the Murder Mayor.

I can't find the picture now, but the caption read murder hornet. The picture was of a fully armed F-18 ready to launch on a mission.
