I know what you're trying to say, but how does one look at the condition of this Country prior to the v***s and how the Democrat controlled states have handled this mess and seriously contend that. There is one reason they are digging in their heals about opening up the states - the orders from Democrat headquarters are: Do nothing that might tend to reflect favorably on Trump and do everything you can to make him look bad. That's the long and short of it, Eden, proven by Democrat action over the past 4 years.

You are exactly right! They have one goal: take out Trump & get control. What happens if they get control? What have they always done: raise taxes & more regs. Their actions since Trump has been POTUS says it all. In my opinion, many of dems are mentally ill; just look & listen to Maxine Waters as early as yesterday! Does anyone REALLY believe Biden can run America the next 4 years?

As far as making Trump look bad the Dems should just stand back and let him self immolate. Trump is not the worst President we have had. No, he is just the worst EXCUSE for a President we have had and the other worst part is that many of his own party privately agree with that. (Check out the list of Republicans from all offices that have resigned or gone Independent because of his antics, not to mention the Lincoln project that is actively campaigning against him.)

Of course you're right Eden. I understand that the Democrats want to win as well as the Republicans and I don't blame them for wanting that. However, I do expect them to do it legally, which they obviously haven't, hence all of the hullabaloo of Durham's investigation into the many illegal activities of the Dems. I also don't blame the Dems for not wanting to get caught, but at some point they are going to have to face the music and dance. The thing that really galls me is that they turn around and accuse the Republicans of doing exactly what they themselves have been doing and their accomplices in the media back them up 100%. It's pretty hard to beat that isn't it. Kinda like playing poker with a loaded deck.

I should probably comment on that too, since I have nothing better to do and it isn't happy hour yet. The medical part that is. All the film-flam about Trump giving out medical advice is nothing but a bunch of crap. Do you Democrats mean to tell me that you think you have been abused because Trump advised you to drink Clorox or shoot up Lysol? You have to be kidding. If you took that as medical advice then you have more problems that I am not going to be able to fix. I heard what he said. Trump's critics are just taking that as another attempt at derailing him. I don't know why I'm even trying to defend something that doesn't need defending.

I don’t want to comment on the tribal warfare because neither side listens to the other and I wouldn’t carry water for either party. If the GOP is your team then I understand the reflexive defense but if you drill down you will find Independents don’t really care what party the President is from, only that they hold moderate views and maintain America’s position as power broker in a democratic western alliance way abroad and fix immigration and healthcare in a fair and humane way.
