This article was published in Spanish and I have t***slated it from that language into English, making a criticism afterwards in which I try to highlight the fallacies it contains. It was published more than one year ago, but I think that commenting on it is topical.

In 1776: Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton and the rest of the founding fathers laid the foundations for a republic, not a nation. ----A republic, in short, is a model of the State based on law, institutions and the idea that all individuals are protected by rights. A nation, on the other hand, is sustained by the messianic leaders, in the ethnic group, the tribe, the race, the religion, the language and the cultural tradition of the people who live in a specific region. -------------Republics stand on rationality and are inclusive. Nations on emotional drives and are exclusive. -----------The republic is an overcoming of the tribe. The nation is an expression of a specific group and is necessarily hostile to those who are not part of it. Hitler is the representative of nationalism taken to its ultimate consequences. The Declaration of Independence does not mention the republic but the united States of America, which became a republic, when the Constitution was approved in 1787. A republic cannot be created if there is no nation or state .---------- Everything written by this analyst this time is only to go against a man, accusing him of destructive actions, joining the chorus of those who accuse him of being a r****t and of other many imaginary crimes, to subtract legitimacy to what they cannot respond of his speech, regardless of the lack of t***h of what they say and the trampling of ideas; because defending the interests of the nation is not contrary to the instinct of the best republicanism; and I think that being a liberal, this analyst has gone astray, has lost his sense of political orientation, defending that what left-wing extremists of the Democratic party use, in which a good part of its most prominent figures are notoriously manifested by socialism, which is not only the political adversary, but the mortal enemy of the liberal ideas that this writer defends. ---------- It is ironic that the vice president of the Liberal International attacks whoever fights the worst enemy of political and economic liberalism, placing himself on the side of those who seek the elimination of individualism, to impose collectivism and planning instead of the market economy. ----- I have always appreciated his writings in which he fights against socialism and I think that he knows well the Marxist origin of Hitler's nationalist socialism, which was also r****t; for this reason, it surprises me that he attacks the leadership of the Republican Party that opposes socialism, trying to ignore that those who behave in the best N**i-f*****t style are some politicians from the Democratic Party, as is the case of the Democratic Rep. It appears this author isn't even quite sure of what he is writing about in some instances! He completely misconstrues Trump's meaning of "Nationalism", which in simplistic terms means "Putting our Nation First"! Granted the term may have different meanings to different groups or even countries. Even Google lists various options which are often contradictory to each other.
But trying to tie Trump's meaning to past histories or other political theories just muddies the water! Just as some in our own country often try to do with the term "White Nationalists" meaning basically KKK-type belief systems and then trying to tie that to Trump because he has declared himself a "Nationalist"! They fail to recognize or more than likely, purposely misconstrue, the difference!
The basic aim of the leadership of any nation should be to put their own countries concerns first, after all that is the reason they have been elected, selected, constricted, appointed for however they have come to power! It is no more complicated than that! Period!
Nationalism vs Globalism doesn't have to be one or the other, although that seems to be the battle we are fighting. In an ideal, perfect world we could or should all work within our own groups, nations, countries, wh**ever you want to call it to do for ourselves first and then for others...much like Christ's teachings!
But Alas, the world is not and will never be that ideal perfect place, because we are all individual human beings! That is where thirst for Power, control, greed and all those other maladies present themselves. Globalism has come to be a dirty word because the leaders behind that movement do not recognize "Nationalism", they want to totally do away with that concept and put the whole world under one umbrella which they think will be much easier to control, rather that recognizing that each separate "Nationalist" country might be better in managing their own affairs & then contributing to a G*******t Co-op, so to speak!

President Trump has perfectly stated that we are nationalist, where the interests and protection of our nation come first.
I agree with him 100%. No NWO for me. America, we are diving into the very left's ideology.
Please be vigilant America, or we could no longer save our country. The left has been edging us further to the world order, for a one world government.

What I believe happens with "collectivist" brainwashing is that through the conversation with those who have been induced with this v***s by way of the Frankfort application of their "critical theory" is the v***s that is part of this package: "the divide and conquer" bug. The author writes with a demented tendency to distort what is an otherwise commonsense fact, "You cannot have a Republic without a nation of people on a piece of land who agree with the need to have it." To say that you can is to say, "A Republic can exist with some people on land who don't agree to have it." Since other nations do not want a republic they are not national-republics. But they are still nations. America is a nation and a republic. There is no separation to make our republican nation globalize with other nations.
