The problem in too many cases is that they are put in the nursing home and
then ignored by family.My mother was in a nursing home and she was treated quite well and she was happy there. She called it home. The secret is to VISIT! I visited my mother often, and at various times. I
might show up at 5:00 in the morning or in the evening.....or at 2:00 a.m...….Midnight....the staff
knew I might come walking in the door at any moment. You still have a responsibility to your loved one
after he or she is put there.
