I did not believe that your post was a serious post, so neither was my rebuttal. Of course I have nothing but the highest respect for Mr. Bean, but he is a fictional comic character with no serious aspects to his personality. Your use of him implied that you were not expecting a serious answer. Or in other words I responded to nonsense with nonsense. If you want to claim that he was being factual in his statement and I was not, I would say you are splitting hairs and I claim artistic license.

The only criticism I will accept is that my rebuttal was not up to the comic level of your original post. I will try to do better in the future.

Today's Democrats are totalitarian in nature, in fact they are very nearly the antithesis of JFK Democrats, they are much, much farther to the left.

The totalitarianism is exactly what the term implies, your party will go to any lengths to impose its will on the rest of us (and on you as well, which if they have their way you will learn, much to your chagrin) whether we like it or not and whether what they do subscribes to the Constitution or not.

"Any lengths" means just that, and from the Democrats' perspective, includes e******n f***d where it is "deemed necessary."

Having the mainstream media in their corner as a veritable propaganda ministry provides the Democratic Party with the same kind of edge once enjoyed by the Soviet Politboro via such publications as Pravda, Izvestia, etc; the MSM is, collectively, the news, information and opinion go-to for the majority of Americans, and, profoundly despicable for a once noble profession, has dishonored itself by choosing the path of becoming nothing more than a P.R. firm for the Democrats.

These no longer fair and impartial entities completely ignore every single instance of corruption and even treason perpetrated by any Democrats while embellishing every last false accusation against the incumbent president and anyone affiliated with or related to him and aid & abet, through false reporting, intentional omissions and distortion of his words and deeds. They justify such actions by Democrats as violations of the Logan Act, fail to cover such actions by the Obama/Clinton team as corrupting our federal investigative and intelligence communities to pursue fabricated charges against a sitting POTUS and profiteering, for personal gain, at the expense of the American taxpayer and indeed, ultimately, our national security.

They also justify attempts by today's Democrats to infringe on our Constitutional rights, ignoring incursions into the liberties granted by the First, Second, Fifth, in the case of the House's recent impeachment hearings Sixth and in the case of Obamacare states' Tenth Amendment rights.

Naturally, being blinded by both an unreasoned and unreasonable hatred of President Trump, you and other portside posters here at OPP, the majority of whom have absolutely no idea what your v****g for today's Democrats has the potential to get us into, parrot the baseless anti-Trump and essentially anti-America rhetoric "reported" by the now uncredible MSM, like these dishonest and arguably treasonous media "reporters" and commentators while consigning such items as facts and consequences to the trash bin.
