Dang it, I forgot about snapper and Kingfish.. Love the King fish cooked the same way!! Snapper an all time favorite..For the size, Snapper to do give you a good run for the money... Mouth salivating now for sure!!!

I’m going to take you up on that offer we will do some serious deep sea fishing sometime. Cannot wait!

Yes, it is of northern meaning it originally came here from Canada..Many moons ago.. Since they are traveling in schools when they hit gosh dang you know it. You can sometimes even see them coming.

And believe it or not the gaming commission allows more catch of Pike, viewing it as a menace to the other fish of Colorado. Couple years ago they paid you $20 a pike to take it out of the lakes....

I meant walleye or northern that you fish for. Walleye are the ones with the double dorsal fin and northerns are the ones with the dorsal tail fin. In Minnesota we would give the large northern pike to the natives and they would grind them up and make fishsticks out oof them because they had so many bones in them that they were hard to fillet.

Tried it. H**ed it and went three more times because my friend loved it. Will say; the huge bluegill we caught were delicious and fresh.

That’s one thing I noticed too thinking it had to be the extreme cold of the water preserving the fish, lolol.. Fall fishing with much cooler temps made the fish just taste better...

I admire your tenacity in staying with it for your friend..While I did venture back to the tent and yes, a bit warmer inside by then, I fished a bit and knew it was not for me..

The experience was novel...
