I value my God! I value Jesus Christ and the fact that he died for my sins so that this world would not be the end! I value my wonderful son! God gave me his son to give me eternal life and he gave me my son to make this life happier!!

Judging by God's previous performance in protecting folks from smallpox, Black Plague, 1918 Flu, Malaria, Whooping cough, Mumps, Measles, any one of the 26 varieties of Scrub Typhus that nearly k**led my uncle in the South Pacific in WWII, Typhus itself, Cholera etc. etc. etc. I may pray for miracles, but I'll put my trust in the medical professionals.

It's my opinion that when people start with your God versus my God, they've already missed the point. The other stuff you asked is not your concern. I'm on a political forum to talk about political issues, not myself.

I figure that any religion that makes one a better person, with empathy for others, etc. is a good religion and any religion that makes folks selfish, cruel, intolerant etc. is a bad one. Ben Franklin had some additional characteristics as to whether a religion was supported by its adherents (good) or always trying to get government to help it out (bad) and that is where religion gets mixed in with politics in the USA today. Some religions, and not just Muslim ones, try to use government to ram their beliefs down everyone else's throat. And having written that, I will no longer mention religion, but stick to political subjects, which is why I originally subscribed to this forum too.
