WILDLIFE RETURNS! Animals reclaim city space, March 2020 Due To Human Isolation

Wild animals take advantage of a lack of human activity to return to cities and towns, including goats in Llandudno, Wales. Earth is healing! March 2020.

We live in the country too and the deer and foxes are plentiful. Right now the does have gone to higher ground, where they will remain until they have their fawns and the fawns are about 4 weeks old. So for now the only deer we see are the yearlings. The 2 year old does are staying with the does ready to fawn to help protect this years fawns when they arrive. The Carolina wrens are in abundance, as are the piliated woodpeckers. Just about time to till the garden and get it ready to plant. We have someone who is a lot younger do the heavy work, as we are almost 80, and can't do the hard work any more. Was thinking that life was going to get easier then this Chinese v***s came along. Oh well, the world owes us nothing and the next one is waiting.

I actually like the animals better than I do the people.
In SF and LA the animals don't crap on the sidewalks as much as the "people". do.

I remember you having said (yes, long ago) that you live in the country. It is a beautiful thing to be able to watch all the wild things, even those that are capable of being in the predator mode. My llamas seem to keep them at a distance. We are a few years behind you. I am almost 73, and until my cancer three years ago, May of 2017, I was rocking and rolling on the farm. Chemo, radiation treatments, and surgery have slowed me down considerably, but I am coming back, I think...my garden last year was a struggle for me. This year, I'm getting back to sort of being myself. Things in the ground already. I just hope the deer and rabbits and wild turkeys don't get too fond of what I have in the ground. I noticed yesterday that the deer have been nibbling on my daylilies. It's okay. I believe in sharing. lol

LOL....it's rare to meet an animal I don't like. People, on the other hand, present a challenge.

LOL They always tell it like it is. They have not the will to do otherwise. It always is what it is. Now, you might ignore what they have to say, but at times that can be rather foolish. I tend to pay attention. Even then, at times it has not worked well for me, but at least I was not surprised!!

LOL....and to answer your question...."oh yeah" and originally being from the city, t***splant to the woods (have lived in the woods for 19 years now), thought "brightly" "oh, just put rat poison in certain hidden away places" (didn't have cats...yet)….you know where I'm going with this....rats dying in your walls....Oh. My. Word!!!!! Three months of "less than" stellar air, coupled with copious amounts of air fresheners and fans. Went out and bought BIG traps!!

Not sure where you live, but me too!! Here in rural VA....heat and humidity....I really found out what an incredible aroma that makes when mixed with "deceased" rats. Not something you forget, is it??!!??
