L*****ts are always prattling on about fairness. It's not fair that some people earn more money than others. It's not fair that some people live in nicer homes than others. It's up to government to eliminate inequities and redistribute the wealth from those who earn it to those who don't, so everyone gets the same.
Using those l*****t principles, during the c****-** shutdown, when every non-essential worker is prohibited from going to work and earning a paycheck, it's not fair that welfare payments continue to be distributed like clockwork. If everybody else is suffering financially, then everybody should, including welfarers. It's only fair.

The question is, what is a welfare recipient, maybe? Do you see welfare recipients as non-essential?
Why does one need welfare-Seems like their are a huge amounts of needs, but who is offering any work?

There's a pretty broad range of what constitutes "left" these days (just as there is a broad range of what constitutes the right.) But for the most part, I think you misunderstand the left's position. It isn't what others have that is the beef. It's how some (certainly not all) got those homes and money.

Do you really think people can't survive without welfare? How do they manage in countries without it?

Right. If they stole it from the public coffers, like the Clinton's and Obama's then it's acceptable.

Every welfare recipient wants a job. As long as they're not expected to show up or work.
