You miss the big picture, the money is to keep people from going to work in an effort to stop the spread of the disease. If people do not have the money to support their families they will work to do so v***s be damned.

We only eat what we plant in our 2 acre garden, we will survive. The dog food we use is made in America so we can still buy it, The guns and bullets we have will last longer than we expect to last (remember, we are in our late 70's)

For the most part, your premise that the fruit/veggies wouldn't get picked is BS. More of the i******s are on welfare than are picking crops. If you're torn between going on welfare, or working at minimum wage, the real man heads to the field.
Don't tell me that it won't get done, because I picked cotton to help my mom after my dad died, and thanked my employer for allowing me to work for him.
