The mainstream media really is the enemy of the people. Even in the midst of the p******c, their only thought is of how to hurt President Trump’s ree******n chances.

Because they rely on misrepresentations and mischaracterizations of President Trump, any forum that shows Trump’s real words to the American people, unfiltered and undistorted, discredits the media.

That’s why major media figures and entire networks are trying to eliminate coverage of President Trump’s daily briefings.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has openly called for networks to stop coverage. Supposedly more serious journalists at the Atlantic and Columbia School of Journalism have too.

This is why Americans don’t trust journalists: they’re actively trying to stop coverage of newsworthy events for nakedly political purposes.

The White House briefings aren’t political – Trump is Trump, but his tone has been remarkably even-handed and his focus has been relentlessly trained on the v***s, at least until “resistance” reporters bring up political talking points.

Not only that, but top public health experts like Dr. Anthony F***i and Dr. Deborah Birx have a high profile during the briefings, disseminating crucial information to the nation on recommended guidelines to slow the spread of the disease.

Mike McCurry, a former top spokesman for President Clinton, put it this way:

“I think it is smart to have experts and other Cabinet officials at these briefings…The guiding principle, I think, is that the public has a right to know. The government has a responsibility to tell. And the media has to tell the t***h, without bias or spin.”

The media has a duty to bring the t***h to the American people, Trumps lies and mist***hs pose them a problem that have never really faced. If they allow the Cheeto faced S**tgibbon to spew lies unchallenged it will cost people their lives. They shouldn’t, my feeling is that they should delay the broadcast long enough to fact check what he says and insert the correction right after he makes a statement. This allows people to hear what he says verbatim along with an immediate correction of every error of fact or lie. The beauty of this solution is Trump can say wh**ever he wants but when he lies Americans will immediately be aware of the t***h. The added benefit is that this would likely be humiliating enough that Trump would be compelled to lie less often.

And they have failed to do that - thus they have earned the distrust of the American people.

And we intelligent members of OPP have a duty to bring the t***h to everyone on OPP about Kevyn's lies and mis-t***hs that pose a problem that we have to face daily. If we allow these obviously flawed and low class actions from someone who calls our President cheap low class names such as, "Cheeto faced S**tgibbon." to continue to spew his lies unchallenged, it will continue to lower the level of good discourse on OPP to continue. He should be required to delay his postings long enough to fact check and correct for cheap childish language, what he says, and insert the correction right after he makes a statement. This allows OPP to read what he says verbatim along with an immediate correction of every error of fact or lie. The beauty of this solution is Kevyn can say wh**ever he wants but when he lies or uses his cheap slurs, OPP will immediately be aware of the t***h. The added benefit is that this would likely be humiliating enough that Kevyn would be compelled to act less childish and h**e filled.
But I really doubt he can read and comprehend, how utterly ridiculous and h**e filled he comes off with virtually every posting. But if he can suggest it for the President, we should be able to suggest it for him.

I think it is very telling of their intent and you have nailed it; Trump speaks and it's recorded. They can't twist it. They obviously think their audience sees and hears only their words.

Astounding!!

hears what trump said while rome burned
Here’s what the president said in public remarks, interviews and tweets from Jan. 22 to March 10 -– one day before the World Health Organization declared the global outbreak a p******c.

Jan. 22: “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. We have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.” — Trump in a CNBC interview.

Jan. 30: “We think we have it very well under control. We have very little problem in this country at this moment — five — and those people are all recuperating successfully. But we’re working very closely with China and other countries, and we think it’s going to have a very good ending for us … that I can assure you.” — Trump in a speech in Michigan.

Feb. 10: “Now, the v***s that we’re talking about having to do — you know, a lot of people think that goes away in April with the heat — as the heat comes in. Typically, that will go away in April. We’re in great shape though. We have 12 cases — 11 cases, and many of them are in good shape now.” — Trump at the White House. (See our item “Will the New C****av***s ‘Go Away’ in April?“)

Feb. 14: “There’s a theory that, in April, when it gets warm — historically, that has been able to k**l the v***s. So we don’t know yet; we’re not sure yet. But that’s around the corner.” — Trump in speaking to National Border Patrol Council members.

Feb. 23: “We have it very much under control in this country.” — Trump in speaking to reporters.

Feb. 24: “The C****av***s is very much under control in the USA. We are in contact with everyone and all relevant countries. CDC & World Health have been working hard and very smart. Stock Market starting to look very good to me!” — Trump in a tweet.

Feb. 26: “So we’re at the low level. As they get better, we take them off the list, so that we’re going to be pretty soon at only five people. And we could be at just one or two people over the next short period of time. So we’ve had very good luck.” — Trump at a White House briefing.

Feb. 26: “And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.” — Trump at a press conference.

Feb. 26: “I think every aspect of our society should be prepared. I don’t think it’s going to come to that, especially with the fact that we’re going down, not up. We’re going very substantially down, not up.” — Trump at a press conference, when asked if “U.S. schools should be preparing for a c****av***s spreading.”

Feb. 27: “It’s going to disappear. One day — it’s like a miracle — it will disappear.” — Trump at a White House meeting with African American leaders.

Feb. 29: “And I’ve gotten to know these professionals. They’re incredible. And everything is under control. I mean, they’re very, very cool. They’ve done it, and they’ve done it well. Everything is really under control.” — Trump in a speech at the CPAC conference outside Washington, D.C.

March 4: “[W]e have a very small number of people in this country [infected]. We have a big country. The biggest impact we had was when we took the 40-plus people [from a cruise ship]. … We brought them back. We immediately quarantined them. But you add that to the numbers. But if you don’t add that to the numbers, we’re talking about very small numbers in the United States.” — Trump at a White House meeting with airline CEOs.

March 4: “Well, I think the 3.4% is really a false number.” — Trump in an interview on Fox News, referring to the percentage of diagnosed C****-** patients worldwide who had died, as reported by the World Health Organization. (See our item “Trump and the C****av***s Death Rate.”)

March 7: “No, I’m not concerned at all. No, we’ve done a great job with it.” — Trump, when asked by reporters if he was concerned about the arrival of the c****av***s in the Washington, D.C., area.

March 9: “So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of C****aV***s, with 22 deaths. Think about that!” — Trump in a tweet.

March 10: “And we’re prepared, and we’re doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.” — Trump after meeting with Republican senators.

A day later, on March 11, the WHO declared the global outbreak a p******c.

Update, March 19: This article was . all down playing the v***s

A "Cheeto faced S**tgibbon" is really not all that bad of a thing to call the lying piece of sh*t you call a president. Why anyone gives that piece of crap any respect at all is beyond comprehension. He is the lowest life form I've ever witnessed. I haven't seen that Kevyn lies, I have seen him call a piece of scum a "Cheeto faced S**tgibbon", but not lie. An opinion is an opinion, but when something is said just because you want it to be true and it's totally wrong, that's a lie, that's a Trump.
