My big brother first took me to Three Creeks when I was about 12 years old.
Back then we went on horseback and we went there to go dove hunting.
But I prefer my four wheeler nowadays and my dogs like riding too when they get tired of four footing it.
Copperas Creek and Sweetwater Creek merge to form Rush Creek.
Where they merge is the place we call Three Creeks.
My father's cousin owns the land and it has always been a great place to camp and hunt dove.
But I didn't go to Three Creeks to hunt or fish.
I went to sleep on a creek sand bed.
If you've never slept on sand, you might want to try it.
It's not only very comfortable but it's highly therapeutic
At Three Creeks it's also a spiritual experience and last night as I slept I could feel the Earth's electromagnetic vibration.
I dreamed of flying and I awoke twice to my dogs barking warnings.
I woke up pain free and energized so I explored Rush Creek to the east and found a couple of possible future campsites.
Except for water and sunflower seeds I have fasted for almost 24 hrs.
So now that I've returned home and I'm showered it's time for a good meal.
My Angel made a Shepherd's Pie and I'm about to dig in.

Fasting is great for the body
Glad you're well and staying strong...
I have a version of this available to me on the family farm. We have been g***ming a campsite for years way back in a creek bottom. The only sounds are nature’s creatures and the water in the creek. I’ve spent many a weekend back there just to clear my mind and soul. There is zero light pollution at night and the Milky Way looks like you could touch it. I’m looking forward to the first day back there for this year
