I just walk in the door, and mine is clean.

Yeah, I'm that good!

All you gotta do is marry a woman who is OCD about a clean house!

God bless her, because she tolerates me!

Gotta love that one. Fortunately I currently live alone. If I don't want to clean, I don't have to clean. And it pisses off no one.

A clean house is the sign of a wasted life!

I used to sit at the computer and tell people I had turned my back on my house cleaning.
With my back to things I can't see them.

I live alone ; this past week I've been home a lot more than usual. Unfinished projects,
"notes to self", unopened offers to join the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce... whatever.
After cleaning-up, I discovered I've got a pretty nice place! Thank You, beer-flu...

There was a British writer named Quentin Crisp who summed up his thoughts about housekeeping this way: "After a year, the dust doesn't get any deeper."

It didn't work for me, we're both OCD and I'd love clean house. When anything spills and I don't clean it up it stays there..for awhile at least.

My brother and sister in law are super clean.
Look in a drawer in the desk.
No mess.
Look in the coat closet.
Nothing out of place.
The same for my sons and their wives.
My sister is the same way.
Sometimes I think if it's squeaky clean all the time, that's when germs get you.
I like clean myself, but I'd never get through with this place if I expected everything perfect.
My den is huge and exhausting to clean.

We have to work together on it.
Our house ain't perfect, but, it's clean.
She has her pet peeves, and I have mine; so we just handle them, and trash each other for being slobs.
