That's what it started out as....until Nancy came along and threw her grenade into the mix.

Her latest demands that she added today (on top of the already 13 items she has tacked on to this bill) are:

- Amnesty for DACA i******s
- Nationwide mandate for b****t harvesting (collecting & submitting absentee v**es)
- $300 million for foreign refugees abroad
- Expansion of foreign language b****ts
- Automatic extension for all foreign workers
- Same day v***r r**********n for 2020 e******n (!!!!)

So not only is she trying to use this bill to get passage of items that would never fly on their own through, she's adding more and more line items to the bill on a daily basis. The lady is losing her marbles if she thinks she's going to get away with this....and if by some miracle she does get away with it, she will be VERY unpopular among both Reublicans and Democrats.

I agree...but tacking it on to a bill that desperately needs to be passed is just plain deceitful, imo. That issue needs to be discussed at length before they even begin to think about putting it in a bill.

Sigh. It’s not a giveaway in Washington parlance. It’s stimulus. We could have written these bills in twenty pages. But that would be t***sparent. Something Washington doesn’t want. I doubt if I’d support the 500 billion but at least it’s related to the economic crisis. This crap Pelosi is trying to pull is t*****rous.

That answer is simple; Lawyers, Legislators, and Congress people specifically, are biologically ( or perhaps psychologically ) incapable of doing so. It's just too tempting to add unrelated s**t to a "must pass" bill, s**t that wouldn't pass otherwise.
