Feel-good feelings that make them think they are doing something worthwhile. The problem is that they never understand the second- and third-order consequences that they shall reap what they sow. They only know kneejerk reactions that sound good and feel good but often have very destructive repercussions that make the cure worse than the problem. They also have time on their side. If at first, you don't succeed, try again and keep trying until you get what you want. This is the mentality of an immature mind. Eventually people grow-up and wise-up. Lack of wisdom leads to irrational actions no matter how well-intended.

I did just two days ago! I urged everyone to write their Representatives and Senators and tell them to get off their ass and work out a bill that helps all Americans rather than providing pork-barrel and crony capitalism corporate welfare. Of course, you wouldn't have read that because it was in a thread topic you probably didn't agree with, so you never looked.

But the real answer to your question is, Democrats are much more efficient, pervasive, and persistent at putting pork into bills.

Pelosi wants to play her old political games, the problem is that she's trying to exploit an economic and health crisis that is not her same old politics. That she thinks (and Schumer) that this is shows her ignorance and pure nastiness. Threatening to collapse the economy for her own political greed is unacceptable. There must be some way to stop this arrogant power play at the expense of the nation.

Nancy Pelosi also tried to slip in a rider to provide funds to sanctuary cities. Diversion of critically needed funds from the American people who are isolating themselves and their families and those business owners who are shutting down their businesses to curtail the spread of the c****av***s.

The efforts to divert the funds by the Democrats is robbery! The Democrats are “robbing the American people” of money earmarked for them for the sacrifices they have made. The Democrats have black hearts and are totally insensitive to the needs of the American people. How can anyone hold their head high and say they are a Democrat!
