It's very simple... They want to add a few sentences like... "the money will not be used to buy back stocks". If they were working with sensible Republicans (that apparently don't exist anymore) it would be a one-day session, then send the bill to Trump. But the problem is the Trump Republicans are trying to take advantage at your expense. If you paid any attention to what the administration has actually done instead of parroting what they "say" they've done, you would know this.
