A little change of direction..
Just to stop my v***s talk....
did anyone know that the old program, Hew Haw... is still on reruns?
One of the sub channels ... as I was flipping past, I caught a famous singer doing the song,
"What I love" or "Things i love" or "I love you too" something like that..
A very nice song about pickup trucks and winners when they cry and losers when the try and all that..
was very nice to hear the thing and much better then wondering how my kids and all are doing.. working at home or no school and driving moms nuts..
such a nice song...
Not the same version as the one I just had on the TV.. Oh well..
TOM T. HALL,,, That the guy...

Hee Haw was a great show.
In those days, we had no such worries as what we have today.
Roy Clark and Buck Owens were a couple of regulars on hee haw.
Them boys could pick them guitars and croon them hillbilly blues.

Hee Haw was a weekly event for me.
My favorite characters were Junior Samples Used Cars, and the "where oh where are you tonight" skit...and of course Roy Clark's amazing talent.

I was unable to see the weekly show for most of its run, but did attend a Buck Owens show in Mpls when they were at the top of the game..
Loved it..
Junior and those skits were memorable..
And those gals in short skirts being around also helped..

Those were entertainers who knew how to give good wholesome entertainment. Not like a lot of the crap we get today.

At the beginning it showed 'Song of the Mountains' in the lower left corner. That show is on Channel 9.1 on Sunday's here in Utah. It is hosted by Tim White and features bluegrass. It is always good and there are old performers and new talents. Kind of a must watch type of show.
HA HA HA...gloom, despair and agony... always a good chuckle..
thanks Archie..
