If it’s up to millennials we’re screwed.
Asking this group of Americans (Not all) to sacrifice by staying home for the good of the older generation will be a disaster. This is the most selfish generation ever in America. Their God is themselves and gadgets.
It's Their god, not there god.

Correct. Thanks. Doing a couple things at once.

I agree. I tell friends that we invite for dinner to stay off their phones while we’re at the table. They don’t like it; more for me.

I've walked out on dinners where people are just playing on their phones...

It’s rude to say the least.

I leave my phone turned off and in my pickup. I have work to do.

You're right to an extent. As well as Canuck is.

You noticed I said not all. Actually the generation below the millennials; wh**ever that’s called is probably worse.

Damn. I’d have liked to hire you when I had my kitchen updated.

I have seen whole crews on their cell phones on some projects.. Any body who works for me has to leave the phone in the pickup.

Put your phones away? you've got to be kidding. I see more people than ever driving and talking on their phone even though it could earn you a ticket, and I don't mean hands-free. Even more, crossing the street looking down at their phone while walking (into poles. It used to be something you only saw guys doing). The police don't have time to stop anyone for these minor infractions and then spend the day in court.
I have a magnetic sign on the front of my car that has the message "HANG UP & DRIVE" in reverse letters so they can see it in their rear-view mirror. You can almost always tell when someone is one their phone because the speed-up and slow-down and wander in their lane. I can see their eyes when they spot the sign on the front of my car.
Even better is the "Hillary for Prison" bumper sticker on the rear of my car. While I am stopped at a traffic light waiting for it to turn green, I see the person behind me squinting to make out what it says. Then a smile comes across their face and the camera comes out to take a picture. Except in Los Angeles. I took my cousin who is from out of state, to see Hollywood, Sunset, Melrose, Beverly Hills and all the rest etc. You know the heart of Liberal Hollywood La La Land. Mostly, I got the finger there. Especially from cab drivers in Santa Monica, where I was born. I didn't quite understand why, except that Santa Monica embraces every l*****t cause. It the closest to a l*****t utopia you can ever hope to achieve; rent control, no plastic straws or bags, $15/hr minimum wage, recycling is a perfected obsession, everyone has their composter and water collection barrels, more Toyota Prius' than people, and too many others to even remember. Their CA state senator was once Tom Hayden of SDS fame and Hanoi Jane's husband.
