Why yes, it seems that a number of Catholic clergy were banned from the scene by police. Why would that have been done? Here are some of the reasons for it and maybe some of them make some sense, but not to me. Why weren't Chechens banned from the scene? :mrgreen: :mrgreen: That may have kept the scene from being there.

I see these words from the first comment to the article as pretty near the real t***h and a part of why those priests were banned.

Is it the topic or the source of this story that has kept all of the 27 people who checked it out from making comment? I don't know but I am sure that something terrible has happened to the topic.

I'm not going to say that I would like the state promoting any religion, but everybody without use should have been banned from the scene of trauma. That means CSI, Ems, family members, doctors shrinks, journalists, and clergy should have been allowed. People certified in first aid would have also been acceptable. As would witnesses. Everybody else....GTFO. Now, I know if a certain amount of access for the new media should even be allowed lest cries of conspiracy or cover up would follow (Which, luckily, didn't happen ;) But I happen to think clergy are a calming influence in the face of tragedy. I don't know why they would be banned....especially Catholic priests in BAHstun.

I think the banning of priests tells us a lot about how our government is looking at religious people. I do remember a lot of Catholic churches in BAHstun when I was there and they were old buildings back then, 1955.

People of the cloth should never be banned at scenes like that one but I am too old to see that anybody can buy a backward collar and sneak in and plant another bomb. People didn't do things like that in my day.
