Then the next fight would be Vice President se******n.

Section 2 of the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution: Whenever there is vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority v**e of both houses of Congress.

It depends on when the President elect dies. If it is before the E*******l College v**es then anything could happen, if it is after the E*******l college then the Vice President Elect would take office. That would be my guess

It's not that simple. Until there is an inauguration, there is still the current president and VP. The VP elect, if different, is not the automatic one to be sworn in as president.

You have a period between the e******n and when the E*******l College v**es which is on Dec. 19th, so there is a period that has a gray area to it

I'd say it's all gray. Is the president elect that actual president after the e*******l college v**es or only after the inauguration?? At which point does the current president cease to be the acting president??
