While dealing with them i found myself involved in a lookalike email s**m which followed every day i reached resolution and a plan, with an email the following day instructing me to disregard the previous day's instructions and take the stuff to a different return center. Then I would call back the next day to get another UPS label and tracking number to send it in and compose myself to wait 3-5 days for it. It seems the customer service reps are involved in a scheme to redirect equipment after checking the ID numbers and determining the customer won't be responsible for it, but they tell you that you will be, to get you to send it along the redirection path once you get the email next day. I'm sure many people find a way to get their crap to an authorized return center or a redirection center in frustration from waiting so long! My insistence on the accommodation due to my handicap kept tripping them up. (I have an imagination and there was a lot of time on hold with torturous ugly music.😵 Still it was better than the machine AI voice which was accompanied by the automated sound of it pretending to taking pauses to think and keystroke sounds to convince one it is working it's AI phantom fingers to the bones on the computer keyboard on your behalf..... Then telling one that it could not quite "hear, would you repeat the information".....

The 84th and last DirectX individual representative with whom I spoke today, Chester, may have been the odd man out, else he took pity on me when I started bawling from sheer exhaustion! Fixed it. Sent me an email, looks official, with my zeroed account paid in full and closed, not just disconnected and the assurance i could return to the wild and run free for just sit around and watch utube videos...

I was so grateful I swore to worship his mother or the good woman who raised him for at least ten minutes after I completed the call. I actually considered it over the three or four minutes it took me to resume breathing normally, Then I got distracted. I'm sure Chester and his Mom are fine anyway.

Then I rolled a fatty and relaxed.

So, yeah, been a little preoccupied, but I'm back in the saddle now! I may be socially impaired by the PTSD for a few days, so watch my six, wouldja?

Withdraw from caffiene? I couldn't do that I live on at least 10 cups of coffee every day, have since I was about 14 and have made it to around 75 with normal blood pressure and still get 8 hours of solid sleep dialy so I guess I was designed to drink coffee. Have to keep up with 5 very active dogs, including 2 adult Cane Corsos that each weigh 130 pounds and a puppy that is now 70 pounds, so need my energy. NPP is not doing well , heart problems mainly so he no longer drinks coffee and I won't let him have more than 2 beers a week. I am SO MEAN!!!

I'm sure there can be alternate interpretations of the verses i printed aside from the literal. For a long time I dodged the scandalous label of atheist by invoking metaphor when encountering difficult passages.

Paul commanded Christians to pray without ceasing, and one cannot endure solitary confinement in one's closet I would bet, without ceasing. But as Christ also, perhaps more pertinently, commands secrecy and I believe Paul's process might include an element of a silent (not addressing and berating infidels in Congress, certainly) inclination of attitude and attention, rather than a daily continues performance of the disqualified Pharisee like behavior, perhaps this is where some metaphorical interpretation might be in order.

Thanks, LJ. I'm keeping an eye on the flood stage and weather alerts. Nashville resides in a huge bowl like geologic depression called, I believe, the Central Basin. Apparently flood waters flow IN for a bit even after rainfall ceases.

I used to live on the Highland Rim, to the north of Nashville. Better. In many ways.

I was born and raised in Ridgetop, TN, The highest point of elevation along the rim, I've been told, was acroos the street from my Elementary School a couple miles from my childhood home.

Country music legend Grandpa Jones built his home there on that spot. His son and I were classmates and casual buds for a bit! Going to the large comprehensive High School changed the social organization for most students and we lost track of one another in the big wide world.

I injured the shoulder last year and it is mostly functional but still painful in some positions. Unfortunately, the driver seat of my car forces my back and shoulders into a slightly hunched position. From which it is quite painful to extend my arm forward toward the steering wheel or the gear shaft. So my driving last year, checked my odometer, consisted of 667 miles, most driven by my son.....

But I do my PT and excerises and it is still slowly improving. I have a genetic condition, similar to EDS, that makes my joints and ligaments too loose and stretchy. Easily stretched and damaged and quite slow healing. I once sustained a sprained wrist from a moderately gentle hive five! in 8th grade. It was still tender at my high school graduation.

These days I know to baby these things til they eventually heal and extend a middle finger (gently) to those who call me a delicate snowflake or a hypochondriac. My sister pretended she wasn't looking though.
