Bloomberg’s supposed gaff is one of the few things I agree with him on.

What we have is a sinful man, like the rest of us, who is honestly trying to do what's best for Americans opposed by those whose two top candidates running against him are an avowed socialist and a homosexual.

I think the only reason why Bloomberg HAD to be mayor was to prevent an honest, timely and competent forensic investigation of 911 being carried out.

Amen and amen! The Serenity Prayer coupled with the wisdom of the sages!! Thank you for sharing dtucker! If you have ever been curious as too why I post the things I post on this site, my explanation is sourced in this:

14“So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.
15“If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private;(obviously I cannot go to Trump in private so I try to reach those who support and believe as he does) if he listens to you, you have won your brother. 16“But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. 17“If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector( or as one of a reprobate mind). 18“Truly I say to you, wh**ever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and wh**ever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."- Matthew 18:14-18

Many will not accept or even understand this teaching of Christ. However, as I understand it, we are obligated to try and help our brothers when they sin (do wrong) because their sin effects ALL of us, as our sin effects them. Good day to you dtucker300!

You should have stopped with "....best for Americans." But since you didn't -why don't you provide some proof that those candidates are "avowed socialist and homosexual?" If you cannot, then you shouldn't say such things -its called Lying -and it displeases God!

You're plum silly and criminally uninformed. I am not going to entertain your ignorance here be it real or pretend.

Don’t bother with this f**e padre. Pretty simple answer. Mayor Pete is married to another guy and Bernie admits he’s a socialist. Followers of either basically means they accept their positions and or behavior.

Absolutely. He knows it, we know he knows it, so we send him to the trash bin of irrevalence and ignorance. Neither is recyclable!

C'mon Jedi. You know full well that Mayor Pete is openly gay and Sanders is socialist, and the Democratic party has been pulled so far left that it is almost irrelevant. It will be for sure, going the same way as the Whig Party, if it continues down this road. Since when is the T***H not intelligent. It is not only Republicans who feel this way. There are Independents and many moderates within the Democratic party who recognize this. They don't have to agree with the Republican position but they do see this move to the left by the Democrats as the greater evil. And this does not bode well for them come November.

C'mon Jedi. You know full well that Mayor Pete is... (show quote)

I have no doubt that Mayor Pete is openly gay - I believe he has admitted that in public. I do not support him either. Sanders is a socialist. But I don't necessarily agree that "all things socialist" are bad things either. I am a firm believer in Christs' Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Having been an orphan, ward of the court, and a foster child passed around through the system for years I guess helped to mold in me the concept that "we may be born alone and we may die alone, but we do not live alone" -so, when I consider that fact I am compelled to bind it with the Golden Rule.

I personally don't see what's so "wrong" with helping others, and I do not see that desire as a 'greater evil.' On the contrary, I believe it is those who would defy God and the good sense of the teachings of Christ who are committing the greater evil. dtucker: when I stand before God on judgment day, I am confident that my belief in helping others (found in the 2nd chapter of Acts) will be rewarded. I don't think those who consider "self above all else" will get the prize.

Christ often said, "He who would be greatest among you must first be as a s***e (<least of all) or servant to all." For those who believe that only the strong should survive, I would hasten to remind them that as strong as they may be -they cannot control the very air necessary to breathe, nor do they know where the wind comes from or where its going. So then; none of us, no not one, is able to add a day to their lives through the doing of evil -and it is pleasing to God when we "think more highly of others than we do of ourselves."
