If Biden has such a right, does everyone have such a "right"?

What do you think?

It seems to me that EVERY American has the right to appeal to the courts, the third co-equal branch

of our Government, to provide guidance, when in doubt.

Not the courts for direction but by their attorney or themself through motions to the court(s) all the way the SCOTUS if needed. Courts can not guide you, they can only rule on what is submitted relative to the law..

I can’t imagine what difference it would make. He’d just continue with his lies and accusations. He’s a real rotter.

This is not a simple yes or no. If he is called, he can not ignore the Senate. Should he ignore the Senate, they can have him arrested and brought to the Senate, fined, and jailed. However, he can appear without providing testimony if he can plead the 5th. But, that is conditional. The t***hful response would need to be proven (if challenged) incriminating of a breach of law and he could be charged with a crime. His alternative, he can ask Chief Justice to be questioned in a secure area if his testimony contains information that is classified.

Pleading the 5th has assumed perceptions that are unintended, a mindset that there is wrong doing, which is not the intent of the clause. This unintended assumption would damage his reputation and would give fuel for liberals for when he loses the e******n to President Trump. If allowed to be questioned in sequestered setting, the public will assume some underhanded deals. Again, this would be weaponized by liberals.

If I were a lawyer for the POTUS, I would not have him subpoenaed to testify.

No more than it is trump's right to claim an executive privilege on things way outside of what is covered by executive privilege.
