In Canada we have youth programs to plant trees... And we pay planters as well...

Don’t know about saving the planet but it’s one way to fight pollution. That’s why I h**e this c*****e c****e hysteria bs. If we took the same time and money to fight pollution we could actually see a positive result.

I have planted more trees than anybody else on this forum except for Loki who is no longer on OPP. I believe in planting forests and planting them where they never existed before. I have a corkscrew willow tree at home and I start the cuttings from it now and give the starts away. I have nothing against any tree they make me happy.

I think that number was worldwide? We certainly have room to plant millions. Because builders have been going great guns since the 50s, and, at least now, when a complex or subdivision is built they raze the ground down to the soil to more easily build.
