Is Muslim immigration a threat to the first amendment? Many posters on opp are calling for the stopping of Muslim immigration, There is widespread anti Muslim feelings in the general population. Solving the problem lies in the first amendment, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;”
Pass and amendment labeling Islam as a way of governing that is a political system that is contrary to the Constitution so not protected by the first amendment.

If they want to leave this behind or change it maybe we can talk... This is nothing but 'common sense' to me-I don't care who it upsets and/or offends-and I don't consider Islam to be a religion in the same sense as what we practice. It is more of a 'way of life' to the ME culture.

I'm not a 'n**i' and they aren't 'jews'. I'm not trying to 'wipe' a whole religious sect from our Earth (b/c I think they're inferior)..and the 'Jews" weren't threatening or condoning harm to the Germans simply b/c they didn't center their lives around eliminating infindels (non-believers). I just don't think we have to allow them to import their barbaric way(s) of life here..under the pretense it's comparable to our religion. I welcome ANY person who want's to come here..but they have to leave some things behind-like Islam (as currently practiced and written). This should be non-negotiable IMNSHO... They have vowed to k**l every last one of us..and there is no (written) peaceful version either..so they are all drinking from the same well.

The entire written version is 95% peaceful, the other 5% require very specific circumstances...
