I found it revealing how the media was complacent in forming public opinion much the same way they continue to support progressive philosophy and agenda.

Excellent article~~ shows how little it takes to create something from lies and sell it to the gullible people..simply by repeating it often enough.... Politics at its finest or better yet worse...

And the end result~ 60 million babies sacrificed for the act....

Glad he changed his mind but sorry, have little respect for him..

What a bunch of hogwash. Before Roe vs Wade, a******n was illegal and was done by organized crime. Their methods were usually crude, unsanitary and all too frequently fatal. Here in Vermont, we had an anti a******n law that was passed in 1820 because a******n was a dangerous operation back in those days. Attempts to repeal it in modern times, after the germ theory of disease had been discovered, had been stymied by certain churches, so that the policy of these churches were being imposed on everyone.

A******n has been a fact of life for as long as humans have been around. High born ladies of the court of Louis IXV used to have a******ns so as to "keep their figures!" Pope Pius IX, the greatest Pope ever, who was Pope from 1846 to 1878 (32 years) made three great discoveries. About 1849 he discovered that God did not approve of popular government. About 1860 he discovered that popes were infallible and in 1870 he discovered that God did not approve of a******n even to save the mother's life. He must be laughing his head off, watching from wherever, to see the U.S. which started the movement of popular government in 1776, tearing itself apart over his last discovery.

Did you ever make the connection between organized crime and prostitution? Prostitution was run by organized crime and if a girl or woman was pregnant it cut down on their profit margins. When you know better, you're supposed to make better decisions. Hard to do when you combine liqueur and lose women.
Two of three, mob staples, leaving out murder.

I expect you can find that sort of self confirmation of ideas from others who posted their fallacious ideas on the net. However long before the net existed many of the very early Christian saints and theologians had much to write about a******ns which are still extant to an Inquirer. I seriously doubt an atheist would be interested in knowing these things if he or she is pro-death. The most accessible site I can remember off hand is to google "The Didache" which is short enough for those with a limited attention span.

Peodifilia has always been amongst us, murder has always been amongst us. Just because we've always had evil amongst us is not a reason to justify and promote its existence. During my own life we've gone from sometimes asking mercy for the misguided thief and murderer to excusing murder and theft by the misguided.

A passionate topic at hand~~ Perhaps it should include the fact a******n was legal at least in this country..

Until the late 19th century, a******n was legal in the United States before “quickening,” the point at which a woman could first feel movements of the fetus, typically around the fourth month of pregnancy....

Some of the early regulations related to a******n were enacted in the 1820s and 1830s and dealt with the sale of dangerous drugs that women used to induce a******ns. Despite these regulations and the fact that the drugs sometimes proved fatal to women, they continued to be advertised and sold... <not by organized mob soley, who had their own motives for keeping women childless..> Primary done by the newly established American Medical Association who began calling for the criminalization of a******n, partly in an effort to eliminate doctors’ competitors such as midwives and homeopaths...

Additionally, some alarmed by the country’s growing population of immigrants, were anti-a******n because they feared declining birth rates among white, American-born, Protestant women....

In 1869, the Catholic Church banned a******n at any stage of pregnancy, while in 1873, Congress passed the Comstock law, which made it illegal to distribute contraceptives and a******n-inducing drugs through the U.S. mail. By the 1880s, a******n was outlawed across most of the country.

Fast forward to Mikes article and Wade and here we are~~
