This Is The State Of Trump's Inability To Even Accept Intelligence Assessments Let Alone Use Them

US intelligence officials have quietly asked the house and senate intelligence committees not to hold the yearly public aired threat assessment hearing, they say it makes the president too angry to have to hear their assessments...what? I can't use any swear words without getting kicked off, but really?

Our Intelligence services, arguably the best intelligence services in the world...at least before trump started monkeying with them and leaking highly sensitive intelligence that came to us through other country's intelligence to where they will not share anything they don't want going back to Putin, can't give intelligence committees an accurate worldwide threat assessment because trump gets too angry when intelligence doesn't match his personal severely limited views?

This is a president that has directly said he didn't believe our intelligence about Putin, he believes Putin.

This is funny like a really bad joke, Trump is a bad joke, but it isn't the least bit funny. Those who blindly support him will believe this is some sort of f**e BS, but the intelligence services said this, this is the reality and facts.

No, that wasn't a leak, this is about a yearly thing, and this is exactly the kind of thing the public needs to be made fully aware of.

Like Pompeo and Esper cancelling their monthly defense briefing, this is a mandatory thing, not some elective thing Pompeo can blow off because he will be asked some serious questions. Yes the brifing is obviously classified, but cancelling it is not.

This is an administration that believes it can do anything it wants without any oversight, and oversight exists because it needs to be there.

You are predisposed to see things that just are not there.....mountains out of a mole hill.

Everything you spout was done by the last admin.

Show me your post condemning the pallets of cash delivered in the night without any approval( you do know iran owed the victims, that was their money first) show me where you were upset over that admins refusal to turn over docs related to fast and furious.

Show me any post condemning the last admin for anything. ...and they did plenty.

Since you say thats why we have oversight.....show me woody, show me the oversight on the last admin, or your condemning any of their actions.

Here's what I don't get sparky, do you think a basic reporting of an event was pulled out of their butts, that it did not happen? How exactly is it that people can be so ignorant as to believe that the source won't report anything but lies? This is why people can't tell the difference between facts and propaganda, their party repeats BS and you believe it.

I thought fast and furious was about as stupid as it gets, and I posted my thoughts on how i***tic I thought it was, especially in the lame way it was executed.

There is plenty I had problems with, especially the way the house and senate were effectively broken and grid locked. And in fast and furious they lost the challenge for documents.

Everything this administration is doing was not done by the last, starting with filling his key positions with family, in way that is a lame attempt at subverting nepotism laws.

Where did you get the idea that our intelligence agencies are the best in the world? The CIA, our premier foreign intelligence agency, was arguably the best before Bill Clinton got a hold of it. Obviously you have no clue what happened to the CIA under Clinton. That's OK, I realize intelligence is very low on your list of priorities. Anyone who thinks CNN is intelligent has serious issues with "smart".

I could recommend a book written by a veteran CIA case officer who spent his entire career working in ME s**tholes. He was none too pleased with the damage Clinton did to the agency. Some of the material in his book is classified and therefore redacted, but overall, he clearly documents the unconscionable policies that the Clinton admin put in place, policies that led to the massive intelligence failures 9 months after George W Bush became POTUS. Clinton's CIA director, George Tenet, and Deputy AG, Jamie Gorelick, Mistress of Disaster are directly responsible for that. Because of these policies and the ensuing failures, this case officer retired early.

Even after 9/11, GW did little or nothing to improve the intelligence capabilities of the CIA, and instead foisted the Patriot Act upon us.

Then came Obama and John Brennan. The story of Brennan's CIA intelligence failures is long, dark, dirty, dangerous, and deadly. An internet search with the appropriate keywords will bring up all you need to know about that.

It took 10 years to find and k**l Osama bin Laden. After numerous attempts by Clinton and Obama to nail his ass, the SEAL team finally punched his ticket to paradise.

So when Donald Trump became POTUS, he was handed a stagnant intelligence swamp teeming with Clinton and Obama holdovers. He started draining that swamp, and even though many of those critters are still in the swamp, his intelligence directors improved the situation immeasurably. The result being that within the space of three months, Trump's intelligence assets and our military turned two international terrorist leaders into mince meat.
