Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner visits Milwaukee today to discuss sk**ls training for former inmates. “Kushner's visit follows the first anniversary of the First Step Act, legislation aimed at overhauling the criminal justice system in an effort to reduce the number of people in the nation’s prisons and help former inmates rejoin society,” Mary Spicuzza reports for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

My question is this; why is Kushner having to do this and not our Congressmen and Senators??

Because they're (the politicians) not interested in solving problems when they can use them as campaign talking points for decades to come and make promises they have no intention of keeping.

If they actually did something about anything, they'd have less causes to champion -- this way, they can pull out the same old issues every campaign season, blow the dust off them and simply recycle them.

It's as much the fault of we, the v**ers as anyone's, because we are the people, as a collective, who allow these parasites to make a career out of politics.

Perhaps because nothing politicians do means a thing as far as getting anything meaningful passed if the president isn't the one wanting it to happen? Kushner isn't "having" to do it, effective managers would be doing this through others who would gladly do this, Kushner is doing it because of the optics, they are scrambling to look relevant.

Meanwhile are you paying attention to healthcare and what the party of saving pre existing conditions isn't doing for people?

What about then First "Lady" Hillary's stab at screwing our healthcare into the ground, or Michelle Obama's... What was her schtick? Wholesome school lunches or something?

I thought Jared's job was to bring peace to the Middle East. Or has the Boy Blunder given that up too?

I just got an idea. How 'bout we train these guys in agriculture, various building & t***sportation trades then form them into a corporation and give them a grant to purchase land in Central America that they can develop. Being ex cons they should be able to deal effectively with the gang problem and create jobs to lore back thousands of our i******s with the promise of work and security. ????
