Can't believe he hung on this long. It's been obvious for some time that Sparky wasn't going to cut it. All he did was embarrass himself further. What a joke.

I don't think mayor pete will drop out. I am still of the belief that the obama camp is working with/for him behind the scenes. And it makes me wonder if that isn't part of the plan with this delayed delivery of articles of impeachment .. that pelosi is helping the dnc just like wasserman-shultz did in 2016. Think about who benefits from this. If warren, sanders and klobuchar are taken off the campaign trail at this crucial time, who benefits most? Biden and mayor pete. But biden's name will also get thrown around a lot during this impeachment, and if there is a full blown trial, he will certainly get called in to testify, as will h****r. So who does that leave? That leaves mayor pete to duke it out with the billionaires.

Anyway, I think probably of those not in the debate, yang or gabbard will drop out. Of those still in the debate, maybe klobuchar will be next. Depends on how this debate goes, I guess. Steyer and Bloomberg have enough money on their own to stay in the race and probably will even though neither of them has much of a chance, IMO. I don't see warren or sanders either one backing down any time soon.

Probably. The fact that Tulsi Gabbard, the only halfway electable candidate, didn't make the cut only goes to show that the Dems are going all out to nominate a totally unelectable candidate.

Maybe they can't figure out what they would do without having Trump around to h**e, so they subconsciously want him to be there for another four years.

The added incentive there is that his ree******n would give them four more years in which they wouldn't have to do their jobs and be productive or relevant -- just like this time around, they'd have four more years to spend all their time trying to have him impeached rather than showing the v**ers that they have nothing positive to contribute to America anyway.

Buying time...

I was going to post the same topic. I was going to title it " Democratic P**********l field just got a lot Whiter " .

This is the party of diversity. This is the party that cries that minorities are not rising to leadership roles. So why did Cory Booker bow out ? He wasn't getting enough support among Democrat v**ers in polls to continue. Of course this can only mean one thing. Democrats are r****ts.

It's funny kind of that black v**ers would rather v**e for white candidate as in Biden than for black candidate ΔΊike Corey Booker !!!!!!

Very interesting viewpoint. This means they'd also have to keep the majority in the House, though, otherwise they won't be able to stop Trump. Cuz this impeachment crap has rallied the troops and republicans in congress have finally united over something. If that attitude carries over into the next term, dems will get left in the dust .... and they will have no one to blame but themselves.

Totally agree with you on Tulsi Gabbard, too. She is the only decent candidate they have. Too bad she got off to a bad start because of hrc's interference.

Well yeah... Biden's part of the "old boy" network.

As a young senator, he was the biggest thorn in the side of the CIA over their involvement in Central America and he's been going great guns in the Democratic Party ever since.

A total career politician, hypocrisy, corruption and narcissism run in his veins, thus making him "one of the gang" among the lifetime politician set. He's owed a lot of favors, knows which closets the skeletons are h*****g in and he's a formidable snake oil salesman whose opinions and agendas go wherever his party goes.

The fact that he seems to be losing his wits to some extent doesn't bother the rest of the old boy (and girl) network, once in the White House he'd follow the party dictates.

His longevity also makes him a sure thing for the above, rather than a johnny-come-lately who might prove unpredictable or become too independent.

Therefore it makes total sense that he'll have been the choice, all along, of Pelosi and the rest of that cabal to be their 2020 nominee... All the rest, Pocahontas, Bernie, "diversity," etc is just theatre to try and hold onto more naive non-white v**ers.

"Cabal" is exactly the right term for these people. They are a cabal of liars, sneaks, r****ts, opportunists, chiselers and power hungry hangers-on who will do wh**ever they have to do to remain relevant and earn the support they've been receiving from the g*******t left by selling out America as a final act before their respective career curtain goes down.

If Biden isn't the nominee I'll be pretty surprised.

I won't, however, be surprised when Trump slaughters him in the e******n, or when the Democrats lose their House majority and widen their Senate minority on the same day.

Just as Hillary was able to manipulate Bernie Sanders out of the running during the last Democratic primary when he got too close.

She's "one of the gang," whereas Bernie isn't. He's not quite corrupt enough or lowlife enough to run with the Dems' "big dogs," whereas Hillary is part of the club.

Neither is Tulsi.

Great analysis, as usual. You make a lot of sense and have changed my mind about mayor pete gaining the most from pelosi's delay. I agree with you with regard to biden being "one of them" as opposed to a newcomer like mayor pete who has yet to prove himself.

These senators surely must see what nancy and the "cabal" are doing to them, and they have to be furious. Not that I care. We can always hope that their supporters will turn on the eventual candidate .. biden ... and make it even more of a landslide than we think it will be.

Thanks. 😁

I won't be amazed if 3 November of this year becomes known by Democrats, afterwards, as "Black Tuesday."
