How many of you are of Catholic faith listen to our father while he molests our children lol I believe in GOD who is everywhere but not in my kids pants

No one I know wants children molested including God. But aren't you part of the same cult that doesn't want God in their bedrooms and who promotes the immoral and sinful social sexual agenda? And aren't you part of the same cult that says God isn't in the 60 million (plus) children that have been aborted, thanks to the Leftist on the court, who adjudicated the right for women to kill their children. Those agust Jurists discovered, heretofore secreted deep within the constitution, a right to privacy? I've yet to comprehend how a right to privacy gives women the right to kill their child.

My mistake it was Thomas Jefferson view of it in a letter in 1802, since he wrote the constitution I believe that that was the intent. as did Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson wrote the constitution??? How'd he manage that? Jefferson was America's Minister to France from 1784 to 1789, he was conducting business over there throughout the drafting, debates, signing and ratification of the US Constitution. 38 men signed the US Constitution, Jefferson is not among them.

James Madison is the author of our constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. He also penned a letter to the Danbury Baptists, assuring them that the new government would neither establish a state church nor would it infringe upon their right to freely practice their faith. Word for word in the letter, Jefferson quoted from the 1st amendment that the government would"make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". He closed the letter with "I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection & blessing of the common father and creator of man, and tender you for yourselves & your religious association, assurances of my high respect & esteem."

The founders of our nation were highly educated, sophisticated, and deeply religious men, their faith in God informed their political philosophies. They abhorred democracy, theocracy, and all other forms of government that oppressed the people. Our founders were brilliant in conceiving a system of government that granted sovereignty to the citizens. As Jefferson wrote in the DOI, the government derives its "just powers from the consent of the governed".

The evidence is overwhelming, but I am not going to bother to list the endless destructive acts of Trump and the GOP. (Just peek at the impeachment process.) If you are still a supporter of his after all he has done to disgrace the office of the presidency and undermine the principles, laws, and ideals of America for 3 years, you will turn a deaf ear and no amount of proof will dissuade you. In the words of your idol, “Sad!”

This is just “I told you so” warning from what will soon become the end of our Republic. It will not please me to stick my tongue out and waggle my ears at your pathetic allegiance when it all falls apart. Backing Trump is backing this nation's slow death into an autocracy. Seriously. Open your freaking eyes, please.

Dismiss it as hate to criticize the president's blatant and despicable behavior is an unforgivable and shameful sin of omission for your base self-interest and catered fear.

I know you can't see those bare facts for so many reasons. I understand and it saddens me. But this country is under direct threat by this sociopath called Trump. And I will admit again how much I detest Trump's actions. Not him. He is not worth hating. A fly or mosquito in the middle of the night waking us up and making sleep difficult is his character to me, yet to the country it is a parasite in the gut of our government eating at the core of liberty. You will realize this far too late.

Damn, dude, you've been jammed up, overwhelmed, stupefied, angered, saddened, and discombobulated for how long now? Experiencing such a protracted debilitating condition is playing holy hell with your mental and emotional stability. Hateful hyperbole and political prejudices have totally suppressed any sense of objectivity and reason you may have once had. Could be terminal if you don't get some anger management therapy and psychiatric counseling.

Organized religion has always made me wary. What is the motive behind this organization of thought and emotion? Whose God is the real God? Every civilization in society since the dawn of time has had many “gods “. Which God is the true God? Why do we mock other cultures gods and beliefs? Who is right? Those with the most money, power and influence, those who are disenfranchised and suffering?

There’s a lot to be said for looking back upon the history of humanity and religion and worship of deities. It’s high time we just realize that we are our own moral police and as a society step up and do the right thing without relying on some altruistic being to make things right and give us penance because we are sorry.

Think. Research. Read. Expose yourself to other ideaologies. Travel. Experience other cultures. It will you do you some good.

Christianity is not an "organization of thought and emotion". Where is the world did you come up with that?

Looking back upon the history of humanity and religion and worship of deities, we find that religion is a fundamental element in human life, so much so that today 85% of the people in the world are religious.

A fundamental element of thought and emotion is an elemental part of human experience … Can you be more explicit about how you feel my statement is irrelevant? Is your “god” bigger than my “god”? How are your deities morals better than mine? Who is right, who is wrong?? How is the Iranian God lesser than ours? How is the Hindu god lesser than ours? How is the spiritual life style of Buddhism less than Christianity? Who is Right, who is wrong?

True worshipers of any deity of any flavor and a believer in Spiritual things will be accepting and understanding Of the times we call now and our home while we exist in this sphere.

Does it truly matter who i worship and who I believe in as a universal presence , influencing my life for the better? Why should I have to name ‘who’ influences me to interact with my fellow human souls On this plane with respect, love and endearment? I’m not seeking to antagonize or judge but question the motives of those who wish to reflect and impart their anger about their beliefs upon people who do not feel the same way they do in this world and earthly existence of millions, billions of souls.

"A universal presence" deserves an identity. It is the height of conceit to manufacture a "universal presence" to believe in and worship. This sort of thing sits squarely in the realm of idolatry. Your "god" exists only in your own mind.

To that point, any deity or “god “exists only in our mind. It’s a projection of our thought process. If you can’t touch it or feel it or have someone else do the same it’s in our own objective sphere of consciousness which is our mind.

Hard right equals republican you can be a Christian and have your faith, but when you have the Christian coalition you are going away from our constitution which clearly states a separation between the church and the states. now a question for all on OPP since the Church pays no taxes does the Christian Coalition pay taxes if they do then that's fine if they don't then they should get out of politics . simply put separation of Church and State

Backwoods preachers played a major role in the American Revolution and have played an important role in America since. Without the various branches of the Christian Religion there would not be an America today. Source: Black Robes Regiment by Fisher

That is not true of the living God, Yahweh, not true at all. Yahshua ha Massiach dispelled that notion 2000 years ago.

Your belief is not in question, human subjective consciousness can’t be dispelled, you are welcome to it, but please don’t expect others to understand nor fathom your beliefs based upon a random document, expression or hearsay.

I don't expect anything from someone who worships his own self-made god.
