Just when I was starting to believe that Kevyn was beginning to use his brain and he had recently made some comments that actually made sense. Then he goes and says this. Sheesh. Our taxes buy them books and send them to school. What for?

Could it be that you were too young and people wanted to protect your delicate ears?

I know this doesn't have to do anything with the price of fish in Denmark. However, when I was young, adults watched themselves in the presence of children and didn't say crude and vile things around innocent ears. Now we can watch TV and hear far worse in programs intended for young children.

Nevertheless, this was I one I didn't hear when I was young. It might be a relative newcomer to all the others?

Or, my friend, we're just out'ta the loop with the more current jargon.

I think you are right. At least, I know I am out of the loop. I don't have Cable TV, don't go to many movies anymore (I used to for research), and I am not around young college students anymore. I hang out with a bunch of old farts such as myself.

On Christmas Eve, one of my adult grandchildren had to show me how to take a photo of her Family with a phone. I had never done so before. I am so far 'out-of-the-loop' its scary.

If you at least own a phone, I've got you beat. I don't own a cellphone. I didn't know they took photos. (snark). I'm ready to dump the Computer; I'm spending too much time on OPP. You are not to blame, of course. I enjoy the chit-chat section.

It was not my phone. Mine is the wife's old flip-cellphone. She insisted I take it for when going on trips. She can reach me and I, her. It is kept in the car, as I rarely use it except when on the road.

What a couple old left behind farts y'all are!! I can use my phone to take Mrs. Bunker's picture, edit out her mustache, and make her beautiful!
