I don't come around here much anymore, but when I do, he isn't around.
Does anyone know where my friend is?

I have been messing around here for about a week and Have not seen him. How is work? I bought a 17 super mag a while back--love it-- do you think it would be suitable on pigs?

Work is good now, Tom. Hell, after the past 5 weeks, every day is like a vacation!
I'm not sure about the cartridge though. .17 seems small for hogs no matter how fast it's moving.
It might work if you hit em right.
My brother favors a .25-06 with a shot behind the ear.

I asked that he be suspended, and I am proud to do it. So, I hope that is what happened to him. Make the suspension permanent. ( He'll use another avatar and handle.)
AF1 had me suspended for three days because I called him an i***t after he said that Trump would top a list of the evilest people in history. He said Trump would be ahead above Hitler and Stalin on the list.
BWaaaa Ha Ha Ha!
I hope this dulls his acerbic tongue.

He was here on Wednesday talking about diapers to proud republican again... Most likely drying out from his New Years Eve posts....
He takes breaks every now and then....especially after particularly angry, insulting and h**eful rants where he gets a lot of flak from people here. On New Years Eve he was pretty out there...look at his posts on December 31!

Have you ever had to work with someone who is so negative and onery that they bring everyone around them down, and yet the company won't get rid of them because either they are all cowards or afraid they will be sued if they fire him, even though that would be the best course of action for everyone involved?.

Yes! In my 45-year working history, I have seen a few of these types. In my experience, companies "promote" these people into a position that involves no authority in the least because of the things you mention - law suits, discrimination accusations, race cards, etc. They usually ended up in an office "down the hall" with very little duties...none of which involved working with any one of us. We used to call one of them "Mr. Important". He did nothing at all, but walked around like he was king s**t of turd mountain. He reminded me of Barney Fife.
Airforce one doesn't quite meet that scenario because he is unstable. Someone as unstable as Airforceone would not be kept in a working environment, would have been sent for mental (or substance abuse) evaluation and treatment, and would not have returned to the office.
(My apologies to Barney Fife
Don Knotts was brilliant portraying Barney!!!)

Why yes Tom, it will bring one down....head shot
i have creamed a couple with my 17HMR....it shoots flat and hard, and is very accurate while moving at almost 3000fps.
It would not be my first choice, but at 300 yrds the 17 will nail it the head easy once you're dialed in...it's a varmint gun...prairie dogs and such.......I have a cut down one known as a cricket rifle for the granchillins to shoot at the range.
Good gun

Mine is the Savage super magnum--bigger case--3000fps. Gotta say I love shooting the lil tack driver . I also have a Winchester model 250 lever action 22 which is also fun to shoot.---In my younger outlaw days I used a 22 on deer. My 270 does the job for me now. There are some hogs about 30 miles south of me if I can find one I'll get him.

Nice! mine is also a savage, has the accu- trigger set up, full SS bull barrel and is floated, has a telescope for a sight that can count pubic hairs on a gnat at 600 yrds.
yes sir'...tack driver it is.
You come on down to Texas for some hog k*****g....I have a nice k*****g field on the Trinity River, we access with kayaks, there are no rules and night hunting them is indeed fun......and if hogs are slow that day.....we can always mess with the gators, they are always ready for some good times

Thanks Willy It would be a lot of fun. I have never hunted any where outside of Oregon. I was in the service in San Antonio but outside of that I have not seen Texas other than in pictures.
