Ukraine has always had issues with corruption. The funds "given" in 2017 was a done deal, as allocations were started in 2016. Obama's administration negotiated and approved a contract with provisions for 2017 and 2018 funding. We see the quid but still unknown is what the US was to be given. When the 2018 money was delivered, the obama contract was closed. 2019, two things to bare in mind....the US was NOT obligated to "give" money to the Ukraine and the Ukraine elected a new president. New management, new hopes for change.
The outgoing president, Petro Poroshenko, was a lame duck who was part of the problem. Would you ask the corrupt outgoing leader who was part of "fixing" the Biden's investigation and tampering in the US e******ns to open an investigation that he had closed?

BS Republicans boycotted the inquiry even though they were several times invited to it. They could have called witnesses and had acess to information at any time but they chose to make a joke out of it.

The secret impeachment should be done in the House with the issue being to throw Nanny Peeloosli out of the House due to her bullying, lying, abusing her power, not abiding by her pledge to keep America safe from all external and internal attempts to o*******w our government and false accusations of a duly elected President.
