Jesus was not religious
Jesus came to serve, not to be served. He instructed His disciples to take up their cross and follow Him. Neither Jesus nor His disciples were traveling musicians. Christians should be more concerned with what they can give, instead of what they can get.
For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
1 Peter 2:19
Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Phillipians 2:6 - 8
Religion is man made. Religiosity is often a substitute for following Jesus. People argue over religious issues

I believe you might find that He was both spiritual and religious. He was, afterall, born into a religious family, He taught in the Temple, actually many references of His religious faith and practice to include telling lepers to go show themselves to the priests required by Jewish law. For some reason, unknown to me, being religious has taken on a negative meaning. It's not!

You rascal. Comparing me to Rummy? You just dumped a load of coal in my stocking .
God's truth and God's Son are completely inseparable. This is because Jesus is "the Word became flesh [who] dwelt among us… full of grace and truth" (John 1:14).
In other words, He was the walking, talking, living, breathing, word of God incarnate.
JOHN 4:23 -24: "But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him.
God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”
Philippians 3:3
For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh.
2 Corinthians 3:17:
"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
