Of course, it is! To be frank, we don't have to rely on anything going on over across the pond. In fact, we usually lead the way in setting precedent. They usually follow are GREAT victories. But if it stirs up the morons on the Left, sure why not? https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2019/12/is_bojos_massive_victory_a_foreshadowing_of_november_2020.html

Why is it that you people on the Left don't even have the balls to name somebody who could do a better job?? Is it because you don't want to be embarrassed if most of America strongly disagrees? Come on. Come up with one name who could out govern the current President in the Oval office. And don't say something extremely stupid like "just about anybody" like Moldy.

Your shorts are too tight. That's what is giving you so much pain and causing you to make poor choices and decisions. Get rid of the 32's and get back into your 3X. 😮

Well said, padre. Wish I could show more levity in dealing with this Neanderthal, but I don't have the patience for his lack of 'common sense'.

Zoo, as the old sayin' goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink from the stream.

In the minds of many, there are any number of candidates who could likely do better...from either party. But, as you don't care to believe anything outside your limited scope of view (you have true TDS)...you would argue, disagree and contest any name mentioned. That is fine in and of itself...but, in your mind, not from anyone who disagrees with you. Granted, though, no one really knows how any individual will perform 'til they attain that office.

Trump did not set out to "drain the swamp,' but instead (IMO) seeks to dismantle the government and along with it, the U.S. Constitutional guidelines as they exist.

Those of us who are geezers and know that nothing is certain in life but death and taxes, do not take a Trump victory as a certainty. We've seen a thing or three to believe that. However 11 or so months out from the 2020 e******n events certainly are trending in our favor.

The Democrats whole strategy of irrational attacks on Trump since he beat the tar out of the Hilly Monster, have largely backfired. Obviously it has been amateur night for 3 years in that party. If they had kept their powder dry and slowly and silently went about rebuilding their power, they might now be strong enough to beat Trump and retake total power in DC.

Instead they have lead their wacked out followers on a roller coaster ride of violent highs and lows. $ CaBillionaires like Steyer and Bloomberg now squander their impressive war chests on personal glory instead of working behind the scenes to fund candidates who can win.

Of all of the horses that are running who would suggest is capable of doing a better job that Trump. I of course am referring to the democrat hopefuls as they are the ones making the most noise at present. I don't really know if any independents are running as yet because I haven't seen any adds or debates so far of independents.

Ol' buddy, I suggest you re-read the middle of my post. Naming names this early in the nomination process amounts to a fool's errand. There is no lack of those more capable than Trump in actually governing our nation.

BTW, have you noticed the paucity of postings by The Ancient Mariner

Yes he said to me a whole back that he was disgusted at a number of posters on the OPP as of late and that he was going to take a break for awhile. I had tried to say to him that with Salty gone that many here on OPP look to his funnies for there daily chuckles and also look to him as a kind of mentor the same way that badbobby looked toward Salty. Evidently he didn't catch that hint from me. Maybe I was a little to subtle for him.
