Jeremiah chapter 9

Verse 1 and 2

The wickedness of the people in Judah depressed Jeremiah. God expected the children of Jacob to be better than the people around them. We should be an example to the world of the benefits of capitalism,

Verse 3 - 5

The people of Judah were liars. God hates liars. There is a thin line between evil and stupidity. It is best to tell the truth. It is easier to remember what happened than what lie you told.

Verse 6 - 8

There is a difference between a lie and being wrong. A lie is when you deliberately misrepresent the truth. If you lie, you don’t know God. One day your lies will blow up in your face.

Verse 9 - 11

The holocaust killed 6 million Jews. No people have been persecuted as much as Jews and Christians. If America starts killing Christians, we should leave. America needs Christians more than Christians need America.

Verse 12 - 16

We look to man and not God. We shouldn’t listen to any man. God is not going to share glory. Jesus should be our example.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men.
Philippians 2:5 - 7

Verse 17 - 22

Instead of going to church, worshipping, singing, and dancing; we should go to church crying and apologizing for abortion and same sex marriage and legalizing marijuana. We are criminalizing normal relationships and legalizing gay marriage.

Verse 23 - 26

Don’t glory in flesh, glory in God. God delights in kindness, judgement, and righteousness. He gave us His word to be followed.
For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
