Assuming they have AOI (Articles of Impeachment) in the next few weeks and they actually choose to v**e to impeach and don't have a bunch of democrats bail on the notion and actually go along with Pelosi on this and there is a trial in the Senate and Schiff is subpoenaed and he, of course, refuses, to testify, what will happen?? I think definitely Schiff will refuse; then what?

What do you mean what will happen? The Senate trial will be for show only and as with all impeached presidents before him, he will be returned to office none worse for the ware...

Hopefully, the GOP will have some guts and show the country the t***h behind this whole mess by subpoenaing the appropriate people. Of course, Democrats will not comply.

No doubt schiff will refuse. My guess would be they can go through the courts then, and it will take as long as it takes. The longer this goes on in the Senate, the more it will hurt the dems, though, given the timing with respect to the primary. We might find out exactly how self-serving schiff is at that point.

We're still waiting for the white house personnel who really know firsthand what was going on... Bolton, Munchkin, Pompeo, and others who have a lot more to do with the t***h and facts surrounding the abuses of power we are dealing with.

How is it you feel about guts and the t***h when it comes to the president telling people not to testify? And now you want to talk about guts and the t***h pertaining to actually irrelevant testimonies that have no real bearing, that are just a sideshow? You show your ignorance and partisanship every time you say something.

They're not going to participate in, or legitimize, this kangaroo court by going into an unfairly run proceeding. Why should they? How much money in legal fees did all the witnesses pay during the two-year sham that Mueller ran? Why should any of these people spend time and money to walk into a one-sided proceeding that will come to nothing anyway?

They will probably be most willing to testify in the Senate where they won't be railroaded by the partisan hacks in charge in the House.

Courts can't weigh in any faster on Schiff than they could on those dems wanted to talk to that the president told not to. What is different here and why do you see it that dems should comply? Think about that, you should be every bit as vocal and supportive of dems and those they serve with subpoenas.

Where they will be served up softball questions and the senate will not force them to answer real questions is what you mean

LOL! Really? First of all, Trump can't stop them from testifying. Any of those he told not to testify could have done so and have the same protections as the whistle blower. They are loyal to Trump and chose to do his bidding.

Also, Schiff was turning down witnesses the republicans wanted to call, saying that most could not testify. So, When we get to the Senate Trial it will all be reversed. I understand that they are going to adopt the same rules Schiff used only this time, there publicans will have the control. Pay back pure and simple. And the republicans will actually take the legal steps associated with refusing a subpoena which the democraps chose not to take. In fact, since it is a trial, the republicans will have much more compelling motivations for those witnesses who refuse to go ahead and testify. Much more compelling.

Don't be surprised if the republicans don't choose to replay clips of the democrats most shining moments in their "hearings." LOLOL!!!!!

I still don't think Pelosi will let it get that far.

Because the dems don't want to wait until the courts decide, and if they really want to hear the testimony of these witnesses they would wait it out. But they are in too much of a hurry to get the impeachment v**ed upon before the end of the year because that is their schedule. As Turley pointed out, they should not rush this.
