It says that under Obama it took 7 years to increase the debt by $8.59 trillion and under Trump it's only going to take 3 years to increase it by $4.78 trillion. Now for the math... ready country boy?

$8.59 / 7 = $1.23
$4.78 / 3 = $1.59

So, your graphic is actually saying that Trump is increasing the debt more per year than Obama did.

Ooooops!

I was going to get into the whole thing about how most of Obama's spending was obligatory (payments on debt incurred by Bush) where most of Trump's spending is on new programs and purchases, but that might be too much reality for the Trump fans.

Yup, that's the problem with you so-called "progressives," and it's why Hillary isn't the president.

You think the folks in the "flyover zone," you know, the ones that actually put food on your table, are less intelligent than you are -- deplorables, right? Fact is, they're a whole hell of a lot more American than you are, a lot smarter and infinitely more honest.

They contribute, you l***h off this country and hard working people like them, pontificating with nothing to actually back it up except the typical superior smirks of the no-loads you actually are.

Farmer subsidies from the Trump administration aimed at mitigating the effects of the U.S.-China trade war have reached $28 billion, about double the amount of money shelled out in the government bailout of Detroit automakers in 2009, Bloomberg reports.

Why it matters: Trump's bailout still doesn't cover all of the farmers' losses. The government has provided $973 million in aid to Iowa farmers during a trade war that is estimated to have cost them $1.7 billion in losses, according to Iowa State University researchers cited by Bloomberg.

The big picture: The farmers' losses are just another data point underscoring the negative effects that the trade war has had on Americans. It has led to bigger trade deficits with China, dented consumer sentiment and is weighing down the global economy, according to the International Monetary Fund.

Now the tariffs on the US has expanded to India, Mexica, Brazil, etc.

So what are the sign here, Trump isn't expanding our growth, he's expanding our debt. Do we need to brace ourselves for another Republican recession?

It seems to me that Nasty Nancy is holding up legislation that would help the farmers more than the tariffs are hurting them. It also seems to me that this years weather has hurt the farmers more than the tariffs. Mike

Apparently it hasn't sunken in yet, let me clarify for you, since Trump's tariffs... got that so far, our farm aid has Doubled the auto bailout. Now let that sink in and perk for a little while before you throw back a foolish comment. Let's also notice the bailouts are when republicans are in office. Growth and expansion under democratic, hmmm.

Apparently your not aware that farms nationally dwarf the auto industry 100 to one? The argument of doubling by comparison to the much smaller auto industry only proves ignorance.

Obama did too more than all previous administrations combined !

Bull, not credible, just fly off the handle opinion. Obama was building us back up for Bush's tanking of the country. Trump came in on a country already moving up from Obama but has spent enough money as if we were already in another war and has almost doubled Obama's deficits.

Trump likes to claim that everything he does is the largest by any President. He is going to get his “wish” with the budget deficit since they are on course to be the biggest in an expanding economy. Between the 2018 tax cuts and the increase in spending for 2020 and 2021 it will push the accumulated deficits to be the largest ever over a four-year timeframe. And God help the U.S. when a downturn in the economy hits and the deficits balloon beyond any current projection.

Yeah, yeah, we already know that no matter what Trump does from fiscal policy to the way he knots his tie, the left will find some way to criticize or villify it.

We're all accustomed to the picayune, persnickety, babyish moronics from the left wing numbnut gallery over this great president's every move, and so is the rest of the American v****g public, as you'll learn, much to your chagrin, eleven months from today.

I don't know anything as fact Trump is fine in my state. And the farm I work on receives no subsidy. I'd know, I help Sary do the books.

So it's just another case of lefties telling people they know nothing about how they're supposed to feel. Sort of like when they tell people what's supposed to offend them and what's not.

The Autocare Association estimated that the US automotive aftermarket would be worth $273.4 billion in 2017 - This puts the aftermarket between 1.5 and 2% of the US Gross Domestic Product

The food and farming industry is worth nearly a trillion dollars to the U.S. economy in 2015, according to data collected from USDA's Economic Research Service (ERS). That's 5.5% of the U.S. gross domestic product. In total, ag and ag-related industries contributed $992 billion to the GDP

That's only a 3.5% difference in the GDP not 100 times, do the math. The thing here is that the farmers were doing fine, gas prices were good and things, in general, were going smoothly, until Trump comes along and throws a monkey wrench into it and Kaboom taxpayers are paying out to farmers who were doing fine, very different from the auto industry who screwed themselves by not going to more economical cars but instead gas-guzzling dinosaurs that Americans didn't want, so more people went to foreign economy cars. Those greedy bastards should have gotten what they deserved. Instead of the taxpayer bailing them out, the oil industry should have, for working in Kahootz with them to make gas eating tanks. Now that was ignorance.

Sethy baby you got issues, you're just regurgitating your garbage, it has nothing to do with me, your comments are only your misconceived thoughts floating around in your angry head.

Don't tell me what I think of people, or what I think of people especially for the people who serve, I appreciate all that they do but they don't put food on my table. They protect our freedoms, our constitution, but they are not the only ones who do that, as much as people b***h and complain about the politicians or people working in the government many of them work endless hours and in danger to preserve our country.

You're an insulting scummer, I don't l***h off of anyone ya wanka, I support people and my tax money supports this country and I don't hide it in some foreign account. I'm probably supporting you.

More then likely I along with other citizens put food on their table as the military is paid for by the taxpayer, so maybe we should just appreciate each other and not one more than the other. But I know that is more than you can comprehend or handle.

The revenue from the tariffs more than pays for the farmers.
