Fact free is the realm of current republicans.

Liberals (at least this one) LOVE. All that is alive. Despise stupidity, however.

If you support drumph, you support putin.

Renaissance? Coal? Together??

Yes, if you deregulate f****l f**l emissions, you can artificially inflate the gdp.

Future be damned...

Hello Useful. I haven't seen you here before, though you joined a year ago.
You probably don't realize it, but coal emissions have NOT been deregulated. You obviously believe the bunk that is pushed off as journalism by the l*****t media. The primary contaminate from coal mines and coal burning facilities is sulfur. Regulations were put in place decades ago to build containment ponds around coal mines to prevent acidic water from entering streams. And coal-burning utility plants were required to add sulfur scrubbers (at great expense) to their chimneys. These precautions have been in place for decades, and they work. Those regulations still stand. The recent flap against coal burning has nothing to do with sulfur; they are only about carbon dioxide. Maybe you don't have a scientific mind, or you deny the t***h coming from real climate scientists, but anthropogenic g****l w*****g is a farce. At only 400 parts per million in the atmosphere, carbon dioxide contributes minimal increase to temperature. On the other hand, the increase in carbon dioxide is great for plants, which thrive on it. The planet is now greener than ever in our lifetimes.

And, yes the GDP and jobs for hard-working middle-class Americans is UP.

Oh Useful, I might have to change your name to Useless after these insults you are hurling. You claim to believe in LOVE and despise stupidity, yet all I see from you is h**e and stupidity.

So let's look at you insult to our great President. You insult his name and you show complete ignorance in his relationship with Putin. Have you ever heard the saying "keep you friends close and your enemies closer"? Apparently not. Ronald Reagan showed us how important is to meet and communicate with your enemies. Reagan worked with Gorbachev to end the decades-long Cold War with Russia and to bring down the Berlin Wall. Trump recognizes the importance of working with Putin to maintain peace between the two most powerful nations on the planet. Trump is also the first President to have the balls to work with North Korea to stabilize relations with a country that is building nuclear weapons and developing rockets to deliver those weapons to many free nations. North Korea is no longer shooting off rockets to flex their muscle the way they were during Obama's reign.

You should stop insulting Trump and begin praising him for making the world a safer and more peaceful place.

Interesting take on reality, Don.

I do not insult him by calling him drumph. That was the family name.

Putin pulls the puppet strings. If you can't see that, you're not watching.

Wow, you have a wild imagination. Your hatred for Trump overwhelms you desire for peace in the world. Maybe you would like to go back to the skinny coward in the White House who was afraid to deal with North Korea and was afraid to give aid to the Ukraine because it might upset Russia which he was also afraid of. It was the same President who went on a world apology tour and kissed the butt of a Muslim leader. It was the same President who was afraid to deal with ISIS, allowing them grow unchecked taking over huge swaths of Iraq. Trump fixed all that. Our soldiers are coming home ALIVE.

Your blind bias is amazing.

That question is more appropriately directed at Trump Deranged Dems who believed the lies about Russia collusion, then Obstruction of Justice for a crime that didn't exist, and now false accusations of quid pro quo. You guys sucker for all of it, and some how feel that you are righteous and just for attacking Trump over it. Look in the mirror Frosty!!!!!

The NY Times was (was) the top of the heap as recent as a few decades ago. But they are falling fast with their l*****t bias. They are not yet as far in the gutter as the LA Times or especially the laughable Washington (Com)Post. But they are certainly a waste of money for anyone who is interested in the whole story that is not skewed by heavily biased opinion. I doubt very much that you read anything other than l*****t rags. Do you read the Wall Street Journal?
That question is more appropriately directed at Tr... (show quote)

Don,

TDS works both ways.... You right wingers who kiss every word that comes from trumps lying mouth are far more deranged than any left winger who is upset over the damage trump has done in 3 short years..
You make believe he has done some good for the country but can not name anything.. his economy is the one he inherited from President Obama.. all fixed and booming..

As for the NYT, it is still a first rate publication, what fish wrap rag do you read most of the time???

and yes, on occasion i do read the WSJ...

I'm surprised that you mentioned that, considering your disdain for any Trump successes. There are probably a dozen steel mills reopening across the country specifically because of the tariffs. I could provide links, but you, I hope, are capable of doing a google search on tariffs and steel mills. And the renaissance is not limited to steel; coal mines are reopening which also drives up the need for trucks and railroads to haul the coal. China is buying boatloads (literally) of coal; and steel mills use a ton of coal to make each ton of steel. That is just a small taste of the "thanks to Trump's trade wars".

BTW, here is the market chart that you requested. The S&P average is up 47 percent since T***p w*n the e******n. Pretty good, huh?

Don, you comments are far from correct.. but I do like that you posted a graph..

Now follow my link about steel mills..

It is not all bad news.. read the article... and it is not opinion, it is fact and news..

Steel company sells for less than half what it was worth when Trump took office

New York (CNN Business)Despite President Donald Trump's promise to revive the domestic steel industry through tariffs, AK Steel has decided its time to sell.

The Ohio steelmaker agreed to be purchased by mining company Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF) in a roughly $1 billion stock deal. Although it's a premium from AK Steel's recent valuation, that's less than half the stock's value from early 2018 after President Trump first announced he would place tariffs on steel and aluminum imports in an effort to help those industries. It's roughly a third of the price of the stock the day he took office.
The deal came the day after Trump threatened a new round of tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Brazil and Argentina.
The Trump administration's original round of steel tariffs briefly led to a jump in domestic prices and increased American steel production. But prices have retreated since then as the increased production and decrease in demand put downward pressure on prices. Steel industry profits and stock prices have fallen along with the decline in prices. AK Steel recently reported a 96% drop in net income in the third quarter. In January it announced it would close a mill in Ashland, Kentucky, by the end of this year, cutting 230 jobs.
