Looks like this is a huge west coast problem due to mild climate.

Still listening to it. It gets worse as things go along.

It's a bit more than that but climate is a factor.

Rains like hell in Seattle. Why don't they go to San Diego...or better, Marth's Vineyard?

I'm surprised FL doesn't have a big homeless/druggie problem too.

Watched the whole thing. Sad.
I worry that this could be the future of our country if things don't change.
And in my opinion, it won't happen because the people demanding change want this because it's humane.

Well, just my opinion from my limited experience is that enabling this kind of behavior only makes it worse.

You can only help a person who wants to help themselves, otherwise you are enabling them, and everyone around them pays the price.

When I was a kid in Seattle you could drive to the second street district and see all the prostitutes drug addicts and winos on the streets. I don't imagine the place has changed for the better. Most of Seattle was pretty nice back in 1967 and our family rode the ferrys around the sound every weekend. You could get a cup of Clam chowder for 10 cents at Ivars fish bar.

I was downtown a few times going back and forth from Alaska. It's a zoo.

It's how the Tower of Babel story ended. Confusion, chaos, everyone scatters and every man for himself.

Nothing ever really changes except gadgets.
