I’m not convinced that Trump was trying to just gather dirt on Biden. He may have been mainly addressing the rampant corruption in the Ukraine. Because young Biden happened to be somewhat involved in a company that was investigated for corruption, and the investigation was dropped for reasons unknown, it was not a big stretch to be suspicious.

Now, think about it...2 great cities plus how many smaller ones? were destroyed! The smoke from the whole countryside must have made a gigantic plume visible for as far as the eye could see it.

So, I believe the sexual desire was in last place when compared to preserving Lot's lineage.
Think of this also, suppose the daughters gave birth to 2 sons and then Lot died.With no more children, the daughters would be looking at incest again! But suppose they gave birth to 2 girls also. We would still be looking at incest.
