The Republicans fought tooth and nail trying to nail Obama with something, flushing their credibilty down the toilet in the process, but could find nothing approaching the criminality Trump exhibited in the Ukraine. Even now, the Republicans are acting as Russian assets by taking up Putin's line that it was the Ukraine which hacked into the DNC and not Russia.
