Those are looking great Patty. I didn't plant this year. Too many family responsibilities. Keep up the good work.

Let me in on the secret. I planted two plants a week ago,and they haven't budged. I put miracle grow soil along with good top soil, and brown sugar(steer manure) and they haven't grown an inch. I'm starting to get worried. I've grown wonderful ones in the ground. This is my first attempt in a container due to space restraint. So what's the secret? The mulch on top I get to keep from watering so much. But what else you gotta due?

I don't rightly know this is only my second year of forest growing in a greenhouse since we moved into my Moms house so we didn't have to put her in assisted living.
We save all our organico and eat mostly fruits and veggies so we had a lot throughout the winter that I limed down and mixed into the 55 gallon drums with the garden dirt that I cut in half to save money on planter boxes. Was the manure well composted so its not still heating up?
I do know 2 of the containers I put flowers in I didn't wash out with Clorox water and rinse them have died. The containers get some kind of funk that contaminates them through the winter. The ones I cloroxed are doing well.
B****sheep seems to be the expert here.

See the bush looking plant in the big container with the purple flowers. When I came back from Central America I put those roots into zip locks and taped them to the bottom of my dogs travel crate and put the hammocks I was bringing back in the bottom on top of the zip locks. I was talking to the ex ray guy as they were going through the machine at the airport and it kept him distracted while they went through. I was looking at the screen and he was looking at me. I just loved this plant since it blooms every day, drops its blooms in the evening and has new blooms the next day. IO have to bring it in though in the winter.
Lol

Good God Patty. I hope they are not seed pods like the ones in the movie, " The Body Snatchers. " You may have singlehandedly doomed all of mankind.
I did the same thing with a beautiful specimen of coral I found on the wall of a fort in Puerto Rico. I put it int the bottom of my suitcase in PR, then boarded a cruise ship, to St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Aruba, Curacao, back to PR, then home. I can't be expected to follow all of the laws. There are just so darn many of them.

We should repent from our criminal ways and report ourselves immediately. Opps I think we just did.
