Fan Comments on the Cleveland Browns Game

I did not watch the NFL Game last night, but by all accounts I've read, it was a terrible, ugly game for Cleveland, even though they wound up winning. Here are two of the more vivid fan comments that kinda summarize the game:

"Garrett should be suspended indefinitely. Browns should forfeit the game. Kitchens should be suspended for the rest of the year. The team should be fined a first round draft pick and $20 million, counting against their cap.

What is wrong with that team? That's an entire broken institution. I'm not even sure the Browns should continue as an organization after that. What a complete embarrassment to the league."

"The Browns should be disbanded. The NFL should prohibit any team from setting up shop there again. Their entire coaching staff should locked up, and Garrett deserves the electric chair. FirstEnergy Stadium should be torn down and the ground salted. Any fans cheering Garrett at the end should be rounded up against a wall and shot."

"As if the game that was filled with injuries, poor quarterback play, turnovers and questionable officiating wasn’t bad enough, the game essentially ended with a massive brawl. After Rudolph dumped off a pass, he was forcefully taken to the ground by superstar Myles Garrett. Rudolph clearly didn’t like the play and attempted to pull at Garrett’s helmet. Instead, Garrett removed Rudolph’s helmet and started swinging. As he was being tackled by Steelers linemen, Garrett connected, hitting Rudolph in the head with his own helmet. That brought both teams to the brawl, which included Steelers OL Maurkice Pouncey kicking at Garrett’s head as he was on the ground. Multiple players were ejected and it is nearly certain that Garrett and Pouncey are looking at suspensions. A terrible way to end an ugly game."

I am neither a Browns fan nor a Steelers fan so I didn't watch the game. I am from Illinois and a packers fan because I appreciate civility in both the crowd as well as the players.

I'm all for a good competitive game, but impulse control seems to be an element that is short supply, as evidenced in this game, and with a large part of society in general.

I agree, just ask the people from other cities that come to Green Bay and tailgate. They're amazed that they're treated so well.

The worst football game I attended was a Raider game. Not only were the Raider fans rather rowdy and obnoxious, the concession stands sold only Raider stuff.

Seems that the rudest cities are the ones that r**t and start fires after their teams win a championship.
