He was a new...

Provided food from his own pocket...Didn't take it from anyone... And reminded folk not to live on bread alone...

Provided healing to only those who accepted his teachings...( hardly universal healthcare...you gotta earn it..)

And told everyone to pay taxes... Not just rich..

Hope your well... Still waiting for yourPM

And He wound up nailed to a tree. Is that what you're looking for? Maybe we should keep Christ for Christmas and politics where He told His inquisitors to put their taxes.

Was Jesus was a socialist

Socialism becomes the majority trend to the naïve youth being educated in the new America. Even some inside the church have accepted this premise of Jesus being a socialist, who taught the principles of socialism.

The church needs to have some solid answers for this position that the early church practiced socialism.

First, socialism is a government run policy (it is soft c*******m which is anti-God) it is not something run by the church. On that alone we have a major divide that should prevent Christians from accepting it.

The claimed goal of “Socialism’ is to cure the unfairness that has taken place, to bring about economic e******y. The belief is that wealth should be collected by the government and evenly distributed to members of society that are poor. What they do not tell you is that it keeps a major portion of the population on the lower end never to rise any further. It squashes anyone who wants more

The true facts are always ignored, Socialism depends on the rich and once the rich are gone, and there is no more socialism, turmoil results.

The Book of Acts does describe believers helping their fellow believers which was always part of Judaism, this was not a new idea introduced by Jesus (James addresses this in those who are poor in the church):

Acts 2:44-46: “Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.”

First, notice they had ALL things in common- their faith was their life. What it does not say is that those who were well to do gave it all so that they were now equal with those who were in need.

They shared freely among those who believed. This was a small group that sold what they could and gave to those in need among them. They did not make a law inside the church to take from one to give to another. The New Testament does not obligate believers like the Old Testament law of tithing that had 10% to support the Levitical priests who taught them.

Acts 4:32-37 “Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles' feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need. And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is t***slated Son of Encouragement), a Levite of the country of Cyprus, having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

What they all had in common was the Lord. Rome was a central government; giving to others was not enforced as Roman law, Jesus never taught that one must give their money over to Caesar for him to decide to whom to distribute it to. He said to give Caser what is due him (taxes). He affirmed the church to help those among themselves in need. And it was done freely because they shared in their faith and trials together and looked to God as their source in all things.

The church is supposed to be self -sustaining entity, non dependent on those outside the household of faith, especially government.

The scripture does not make their selling their goods a requirement but was a reaction of love to their fellow believers in need in the church. Especially those who were put out of the synagogues or lost their jobs because of their Faith in Christ.

Barnabas did this by his own choice, as did others. The believers were not required to help those outside the church. It was an individual’s choice, your own prerogative. Individual responsibility is not the same as a government program that is taking from the rich and distributing money to help others. The principle they lived by is not to make e******y as in socialism.

Did Jesus teach (or the early church model) principles of socialist thinking? Jesus’ gospel had absolutely nothing about the distribution of wealth, as stated in socialism “from each according to their ability, to each according to their needs.” If you hear someone say this they are reinterpreting what Jesus says and removing it from the t***h.

The gospel is about our forgiveness from Sin and living a new life in the image of Christ.

Promoters of Christianized Socialism often lift the Scriptures out of their context to validate their socialistic ideology. For example they use Mt.25 if you have done this to the least of my brethren where both the meaning and application are changed. They generalize the Scripture giving them a wider application to those outside the church, which is often a neglect to the church.

The Old Testament system under the law.

Israel is a theocracy, the only nation as such. The Old Testament taught on caring for the poor among them.

Israel was once under bondage and God has them remember where they came from so they can treat others with kindness. Exod. 22:21 "You shall neither mistreat a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”

Deut. 14:28-29: “At the end of every third year you shall bring out the tithe of your produce of that year and store it up within your gates.” And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.”

Deut. 15:7-8: “If there is among you a poor man of your brethren, within any of the gates in your land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother, “but you shall open your hand wide to him and willingly lend him sufficient for his need, wh**ever he needs.

Deut. 26:12: “When you have finished laying aside all the tithe of your increase in the third year-- the year of tithing-- and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, so that they may eat within your gates and be filled.”

This was to those within the nation; and it was every 3 years not a continuous handout. We all know what happens when people are always given for their needs, they do not see the need to work.

God had fairness in mind for those who had abundance.

Lev. 19:10: “And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger.” Lev. 23:22: “When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field when you reap, nor shall you gather any gleaning from your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger: I am the LORD your God.’”

God instructed the owner of the land leave portions of the produce. They didn’t pick it and then send the food to the people in need. Those who were hungry picked their own food just as the owner of the vineyard did.

This was Israel’s built in social program for the needy, but it was not anything like socialism.

The Bible speaks a lot on laziness. Prov. 21:25-26: “The desire of the lazy man k**ls him, for his hands refuse to labor. He covets greedily all day long, but the righteous gives and does not spare.”

Prov. 13:4: “The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.” This is clearly capitalism, not socialism.

When we come to the New Testament Paul states 1 Thess. 4:11-12 “that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.”

In other words you can help others with what you have, not just by money.

2 Thess. 3:9-13 “make ourselves an example of how you should follow us. For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work , neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.”

Paul instructed all to work that can, and not live off of others.

People work hard to have what they own, and those who are believers acknowledge it is all the Lord’s to do what He wants with it. So they submit themselves to be under the Lords instruction when and what to give being led by Bible principles and the Holy Spirit.

Is it fair to take from those who work to support those who will not work (not those who cannot work because of a situation that they cannot control”). It’s one thing to take care of those who are unable, the Bible makes it clear that we (as the church) are to do this. The Bible also calls this charity and it is to be done by individual choice. But when it involves the government there is no choice, it is just law, like taxes.

The apostles who represented what Jesus taught did not have socialism in mind when they taught the church. Let’s look at those who promised to be part of this giving for others and decided not to.

In Acts 5 Annaians and Sapphirra saw how people in the church were giving for the needs of others and volunteered to sell their land. Acts 5:1-5 “But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? “While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

Annaias and Saphirra lied. They were not required to give any amount, not 10% nor 100%, it was a freewill offering. But they withheld what they promised, they broke their agreement. Peter did not take it from them but only reminded them that they gave their word to God. We see that Peter believed in individual property, but that one also needs to keep their word, especially when it involves promises to others and to God.

John writes “if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” (1 Jn. 3:17). Gal. 2:10 Paul says, “they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.”

We remember the poor by giving when there is a need. Those who well to do give food, water or medicine when a large disaster happens. Those who have wealth, abundance of money help, and this comes from businesses, not government. The church does not amass wealth nor create wealth. Again we find it is those in the church who had lands and abundance of possessions were able to sell them to help others.

The Good Samaritan

The Good Samaritan in Jesus’ parable found the man wounded and robbed by thieves along the road (Luke 10:30-37). He demonstrated compassion toward the victim of a crime, not because he was poor in his lifestyle, but because he was a “neighbor” in need.

The Good Samaritan didn’t collect money from the Roman government or the synagogue, he got involved himself. Charity has empathy for those in need and is willing to share, comfort and care for a person. It demonstrates God’s love from one person to another person. The law of Christ is to carry one another's burdens, this is not the same as a distribution of their goods decided by a council or government. He didn’t go around looking for others in need, the need was presented before him and he met it.

The widow’s mite

The widow’s mite argues against socialism:

Mark 12:41-44 Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury;" for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood."

Here we have someone who is very poor giving to the temple (not to Caesar or the government). The woman gave in support of God and His work. Jesus says she gave more than the rich men who were present because she had little and still gave. Her giving in proportion to their wealth was greater. The widow’s story refutes the idea that the Bible teaches socialism. For if it did, she would be the recipient, not a giver. And it would be her giving to the Roman government not the temple treasury.

This has everything to do with Israel as a theocracy. One cannot honestly apply these laws unless God is also involved.

The Ransom—God’s Greatest Gift -- His Christmas Gift To All Mankind!

What is the ransom?

How was it provided?

What can it mean for you?

How can you show that you appreciate it?

1. (a) When does a gift have great value to you personally? (b) Why can it be said that the ransom is the most valuable gift you could ever receive?

WHAT is the greatest gift you have ever received? A gift does not have to be expensive to be important. After all, the true value of a gift is not necessarily measured in terms of money. Rather, when a gift brings you happiness or fills a real need in your life, it has great value to you personally.

2 Of the many gifts you could ever hope to receive, there is one that stands out above all others. It is a gift from God to mankind. God has given us many things, but his greatest gift to us is the ransom sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ. (Read Matthew 20:28.) As we will see in this chapter, the ransom is the most valuable gift you could possibly receive, for it can bring you untold happiness and can fill your most important needs. The ransom is really the greatest expression of God’s love for you.

WHAT IS THE RANSOM?

3. What is the ransom, and what do we need to understand in order to appreciate this valuable gift?
Put simply, the ransom is God's’s means to deliver, or save, humankind from sin and death. (Ephesians 1:7) To grasp the meaning of this Bible teaching, we need to think back to what happened in the garden of Eden. Only if we understand what Adam lost when he sinned can we appreciate why the ransom is such a valuable gift to us.

4. What did perfect human life mean for Adam?

When he created Adam, God gave him something truly precious—perfect human life. Consider what that meant for Adam. Made with a perfect body and mind, he would never get sick, grow old, or die. As a perfect human, he had a special relationship with God. The Bible says that Adam was a “son of God.” (Luke 3:38) So Adam enjoyed a close relationship with God, like that of a son with a loving father. Jehovah communicated with his earthly son, giving Adam satisfying assignments of work and letting him know what was expected of him.—Genesis 1:28-30; 2:16, 17.

5. What does the Bible mean when it says that Adam was made “in God’s image”?

Adam was made “in God’s image.” (Genesis 1:27) That did not mean that Adam resembled God in appearance. As we learned in Chapter 1 of this book, God is an invisible Spirit. (John 4:24) So God does not have a body of flesh and blood. Being made in God’s image meant that Adam was created with qualities like those of God, including love, wisdom, justice, and power. Adam was like his Father in another important way in that he possessed free will. Hence, Adam was not like a machine that can perform only what it is designed or programmed to do. Instead, he could make personal decisions, choosing between right and wrong. If he had chosen to obey God, he would have lived forever in Paradise on earth.

6. When Adam disobeyed God, what did he lose, and how were his offspring affected?

Clearly, then, when Adam disobeyed God and was condemned to death, he paid a very high price. His sin cost him his perfect human life with all its blessings. (Genesis 3:17-19) Sadly, Adam lost this precious life not only for himself but also for his future offspring. God’s Word says: “Through one man [Adam] sin entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.” (Romans 5:12) Yes, all of us have inherited sin from Adam. Hence, the Bible says that he “sold” himself and his offspring into s***ery to sin and death. (Romans 7:14) There was no hope for Adam or Eve because they willfully chose to disobey God. But what about their offspring, including us?

7. A ransom basically involves what two things?

God came to mankind’s rescue by means of the ransom. What is a ransom? The idea of a ransom basically involves two things. First, a ransom is the price paid to bring about a release or to buy something back. It might be compared to the price paid for the release of a prisoner of war. Second, a ransom is the price that covers, or pays, the cost of something. It is similar to the price paid to cover the damages caused by an injury. For example, if a person causes an accident, he would have to pay an amount that fully corresponds to, or equals, the value of what was damaged.

How would it be possible to cover the enormous loss that Adam inflicted on all of us and to release us from s***ery to sin and death? Let us consider the ransom that Jehovah provided and what this can mean for you.

HOW GOD PROVIDED THE RANSOM

9. What sort of ransom was required?

Since a perfect human life was lost, no imperfect human life could ever buy it back. (Psalm 49:7, 8) What was needed was a ransom equal in value to what was lost. This is in harmony with the principle of perfect justice found in God’s Word, which says: “Life will be for life.” (Deuteronomy 19:21) So, what would cover the value of the perfect human soul, or life, that Adam lost? Another perfect human life was the “corresponding ransom” that was required.—1 Timothy 2:6.

10. How did God provide the ransom?

1How did God provide the ransom? He sent one of his perfect spirit sons to the earth. But God did not send just any spirit creature. He sent the one most precious to him, his only-begotten Son. (Read 1 John 4:9, 10.) Willingly, this Son left his heavenly home. (Philippians 2:7) As we learned in the preceding chapter of this book, God performed a miracle when he t***sferred the life of this Son to the womb of Mary. By means of God’s holy spirit, Jesus was born as a perfect human and was not under the penalty of sin.—Luke 1:35.

Jesus’ agonizing death on a torture stake
God gave his only-begotten Son as a ransom for us

11. How could one man serve as a ransom for millions?

How could one man serve as a ransom for many, in fact, millions of humans? Well, how did humans numbering into the millions come to be sinners in the first place? Recall that by sinning, Adam lost the precious possession of perfect human life. Hence, he could not pass it on to his offspring. Instead, he could pass on only sin and death. Jesus, whom the Bible calls “the last Adam,” had a perfect human life, and he never sinned. (1 Corinthians 15:45) In a sense, Jesus stepped into Adam’s place in order to save us. By sacrificing, or giving up, his perfect life in flawless obedience to God, Jesus paid the price for Adam’s sin. Jesus thus brought hope to Adam’s offspring.—Romans 5:19; 1 Corinthians 15:21, 22.

12. What was proved by Jesus’ suffering?

The Bible describes in detail the suffering that Jesus endured before his death. He was whipped and nailed to the torture stake, suffering an agonizing death. (John 19:1, 16-18, 30; Many ask: “Why True Christians Do Not Use the Cross in Worship”) Why was it necessary for Jesus to suffer so much? Satan has questioned whether God had any human servants who would remain faithful under such a trial. By enduring faithfully in spite of great suffering, Jesus gave the best possible answer to Satan’s challenge. Jesus proved that a perfect man possessing free will could keep perfect integrity to God no matter what the Devil did. Jehovah must have rejoiced greatly over the faithfulness of his dear Son!—Proverbs 27:11.

13. How was the ransom paid?

How was the ransom paid? On the 14th day of the Jewish month Nisan in 33 C.E., God allowed his perfect and sinless Son to be executed. Jesus thus sacrificed his perfect human life “once for all time.” (Hebrews 10:10) On the third day after Jesus died, Jehovah raised him back to spirit life. In heaven, Jesus presented to God the value of his perfect human life sacrificed as a ransom in exchange for Adam’s offspring. (Hebrews 9:24) God accepted the value of Jesus’ sacrifice as the ransom needed to deliver mankind from s***ery to sin and death.—Read Romans 3:23, 24.

14. WHAT THE RANSOM CAN MEAN FOR YOU

To receive “the forgiveness of our sins,” what must we do?

Despite our sinful condition, we can enjoy priceless blessings because of the ransom. Let us consider some of the present and future benefits of this greatest gift from God.

The forgiveness of sins. Because of inherited imperfection, we have a real struggle to do what is right. All of us sin either in word or in deed. But by means of Jesus’ ransom sacrifice, we can receive “the forgiveness of our sins.” (Colossians 1:13, 14) To gain that forgiveness, however, we must be truly repentant. We must also humbly appeal to God, asking his forgiveness on the basis of our faith in the ransom sacrifice of his Son.—Read 1 John 1:8, 9.

16. What enables us to worship God with a clean conscience, and what is the value of such a conscience?

A clean conscience before God. A guilty conscience can easily lead to hopelessness and make us feel worthless. Through the forgiveness made possible by the ransom, though, God kindly enables us to worship him with a clean conscience despite our imperfection. (Hebrews 9:13, 14) This makes it possible for us to have freeness of speech with God. Therefore, we can freely approach him in prayer. (Hebrews 4:14-16) Maintaining a clean conscience gives peace of mind, promotes self-respect, and contributes to happiness.

17. What blessings are made possible because Jesus died for us?

The hope of everlasting life on a paradise earth. “The wages sin pays is death,” says Romans 6:23. The same verse adds: “But the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” In Chapter 3 of this book, we discussed the blessings of the coming earthly Paradise. (Revelation 21:3, 4) All those future blessings, including life everlasting in perfect health, are made possible because Jesus died for us. To receive those blessings, we need to show that we appreciate the gift of the ransom.

18. HOW CAN YOU SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION?

Why should we be grateful to God for the provision of the ransom?

Well, a gift is especially precious when it involves a sacrifice of time, effort, or expense on the part of the giver. Our heart is touched when we see that a gift is an expression of the giver’s genuine love for us. The ransom is the most precious of all gifts, for God made the greatest sacrifice ever in providing it. “God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son,” says John 3:16. The ransom is the most outstanding evidence of God's’s love for us. It is also proof of Jesus’ love, for he willingly gave his life in our behalf. (Read John 15:13.) The gift of the ransom should therefore convince us that God and his Son love us as individuals.—Galatians 2:20.

!9. Studying the Bible

Getting to know Jehovah is one way to show that you appreciate his gift of the ransom

In what ways can you show that you appreciate God’s gift of the ransom?

To begin with, get to know the Great Giver, God. (John 17:3) Study the bible and as you come to know God, your love for him will deepen. In turn, that love will make you want to please him.—1 John 5:3.

20 Exercise faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice.

Regarding Jesus, it is said: “The one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life.” (John 3:36) How can we exercise faith in Jesus? Such faith is not shown by words alone. “Faith without works is dead,” says James 2:26. Yes, true faith is proved by “works,” that is, by our actions. One way to show that we have faith in Jesus is by doing our best to imitate him not just in what we say but also in what we do.—John 13:15.

The rich young Ruler

Matt 19:16-24 "Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?" So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments." He said to Him, "Which ones?" Jesus said, " 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' " The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?" Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

The rich ruler lived by the letter of the law, he accumulated so much wealth that he had enough to help others. When He asked Jesus what he need to do to have eternal life Jesus pointed to the commandments (plural), how one is to live, the last one being to 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' This young man thought he kept them all from when he was young, but actually he did not.

Jesus told this rich young man to sell what he has and give to the poor, but he also said to follow him. He was showing him that his earthly riches had him in bondage to the true riches he could have in heaven. He did not say the same to everyone who is rich, He treated people individually, not as a collective.

Jesus then told him that he must distribute his wealth to the poor if he wanted to enter life, and MOST importantly follow Jesus. Jesus knew he did not keep all God’s instructions and this is what prevented him

And this is why Jesus did follow this encounter up with the statement to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." It is hard it is for wealthy people to enter the kingdom because they love money more than they do God.

V.24 it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?" But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Notice that it was his disciples that said it was impossible for the rich, not Jesus. For this very reason Jesus said in Matt 6:24 "No one can serve two masters; for either he will h**e the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Jesus’ instruction was to a specific individual, he did not make it a universal mandate. And the further comparison of it being impossible of a camel going through the eye of a needle, it’s impossible. There is no place for excessive wealth in God’s kingdom.

The next time a socialist claims we should implement his ideology using this verse, we tell him to give his wealth away he should follow Jesus.

Our government

The United States governmental system, is not perfect, it was based on some Biblical principles and the overarching theme was to give freedom, self - governance to individuals, not government control over the minute aspects of our lives, especially our finances. This was different than every other government existing at the time. It is dictatorial governments that own the wealth of the people.

One of the main framers of our constitution stated: “To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and sk**l, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it” (Thomas Jefferson, letter to Joseph Milligan, April 6, 1816).

This is where the promotion begins and is now finding its way into the church. It involves a philosophy that is antithetical to Christianity. We need to look at this concept in History, philosophy, logic and most importantly the Bible, which becomes the final authoritative answer for Christians. Those who engage in promoting this inside the church are attributing Jesus’ statements as an endorsement of the philosophy of Karl Marx, whose idea was to redistribute the wealth, not Jesus.

Can we as a nation, eradicate our own poverty. Should individuals who have gained excessive wealth be forced to give up most of it to benefit others?

Ps. 82:3-4 “Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked.” Notice it’s not the rich he is to defend them from but the wicked. One can be poor and wicked as well as being rich. When we look at what c*******t dictators and their socialist government did to the poor in their country, giving them bread and water, and eliminated the people by the millions that is what is wicked

For now, socialism has more to do with politics than religion, but as the churches religious values decline other dictatorial systems try to enter and merge.

Socialism is theft via the government. As far as true fairness - this e******y will only be found in the Millennium when Christ is here ruling, not by any earthly government today. A Divine just government the socialist supporters would not be happy with because it will bring genuine justice to all, not just a few.

Christian charity begins with us individually. We are to obey God not the state when giving your time and money to assist those in need; it is out of a love and devotion to Christ and love for people.

Heb. 13:5: “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have.”

Do not those who call for social justice, covet what they do not have. Does not the Bible teach to be content in all states we are in? The Bible says not to steal, this certainly can be applied to the government that has the intention to take from some who have to give to others who do not.

If you do not know the difference between good and evil how can you speak of e******y. Marxists / socialists calling for this e******y is an oxymoron; you can’t have right decisions on ruling people without God, and Marxists and atheists do not believe in God. And they should not be allowed to use the Scripture to advance their agenda.

telling people they should what others have without working for it and the government should be allowed to obtain it for them is not Christian its dictatorial. One of the 10 commandments of Moses is “thou shall not covet,” another is “you shall not steal.”

It is about individual choice, freedom. Our choice to do good to others will be rewarded in the afterlife, the eternal life. To legislate a law to be dutiful to help others takes away individual choice. This becomes Christian socialism, which is an ideology in disguise.

The return of the king Mt.25

The question that needs answering is who does the caring for the needs of others. Is it left up to individuals, the government, or, is it the church’s responsibility to care for the poor?

Let’s look at the parable of separating the sheep from the goats which is often used for the promotion of socialism. First we need to understand that Jesus has just vanquished the armies of the world that came against him at Armageddon, he has taken out the false messiah and his armies and now sits down to judge the people of the nations, who will enter the 1,000 reign as sheep (on his right)and who will not as goats (on his left).

Matt 25:31-33 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.”

This parable is known as the “judgment of the nations,” but it is speaking of individuals that make up a nation. It is about the activity of “people,” making it a separation of individual people. When it says nations it means those of every ethnicity, none are excluded.

It is not nations themselves that are being separated, but people who are sheep and goats. They are evaluated according to the standards of God’s word to enter the kingdom which is to commence.

V.34-46 “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.' "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' "And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.' "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' "Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

The socialist’s use this verse to say feeding the hungry, relieving the thirsty, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, and caring for the sick and the imprisoned are which Jesus judges a nation as righteous to be a part of God’s kingdom.

But it is individuals that do this and he is going to judge them as individuals. He does not decide to judge a whole nation by an individual’s actions, nor is he going to judge an individual but a whole nation’s action. God is perfect and fair in his justice.

It is Individual people are being judged on how they interacted with other people he calls “Brethren,” then they are the people of different nations being judged on how they conduct themselves to others in need.

If Jesus judged a whole nation by how nations conduct themselves to others in need, their treatment to “the least of these,” then I suppose we can conclude there are no sheep on his right, only goats on the left.

But they were individually engaged in ministry doing what they were supposed to the His BRETHREN (not to everyone), and nowhere will you find the word Brethren applied to non believers. Considering this is a recapture of the Tribulation period it would be first Jews and then Christians.

In other words they were individually engaged in ministry doing what they were supposed to the BRETHREN (not to everyone), this is charity was motivated by love done by individuals, they did not rely on government but were involved themselves. The meaning the Christian socialists give to "Charity" is concealed behind new definitions. Social justice is a legal way to enforce governmental control over people. Social justice (religious or political) by progressive democrats (socialists) means taking money from those that work to give to those that don't. Charity is a voluntary giving to help those we choose, we are often personally involved. Compassion for the poor does not mean we allow the government to control what, how and when we give.

When the government legislates that it is you moral duty to help others, God is being replaced by government and all the socialists, Marxists stand and applaud.

This is charity was motivated by love done by individuals, they did not rely on government but were directly involved themselves. The socialists who claim Christianity conceal the meaning behind new definitions. Socialism is a legal way to enforce governmental control over people. Socialism (religious or political) by progressive democrats (socialists) means taking money from those that work to give to those that don’t. Charity is a voluntary giving to help those we choose, we are often personally involved. Compassion for the poor does not mean we allow the government to control what, how and when we give.

When a government legislates that it is you moral duty to help others, God is being replaced by government. And you will find all the socialists, Marxists stand and applaud it.

Their argument is that we are to affirm that Jesus is Lord that includes our political life, not just our spiritual life.

Yet this is flawed, because the very people that claim this as socialists are not pro life, in fact they have pushed the envelope further to have a mother who gives birth to choose whether their child lives or dies, just as they do in other prior trimesters. Jesus tell us that this is murder. Equal rights is not just about money.

Can we as a nation force individuals by law who have gained wealth to give up most of it to benefit others, to make things equal?

Jesus said Mk. 14:7 “For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you wish you may do them good.”Mt. 26:11 “For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always.”

You mean we will not solve the problem by implementing socialism? That what Jesus said, this is why we do what we can and wait for his kingdom to resolve the issues of mankind.

In fact the Bible gives us the example to consider of those who use socialism as the cure all and are outspoken about force helping the poor. In John 12:4-7 “Judas Iscar**t, Simon's son, who would betray Him, said, Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?" This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it. “

You will find Socialists and those who tout its ideology, who are outspoken can be as corrupt as those who are rich. They covet, they want control just like anyone else. What needs to be remedied is the nature of man, his sinful condition.

Yours is one of the best explanations what socialism is all about. The radical DEMS- pretend to embrace Christ when it is convenient for them to deceive the people that they obey Christ and therefore must be followed.

The fact of the matter is they are against Christ. Every policy they convey are against Christ. Their moral standard and integrity are never part of Christ doctrine or teachings. The LIBS shun away Christ from their every day life. There are states and cities now calling Christmas tree a Holiday tree. Their justification for that is not to offend other peoples' beliefs.
I must question the beliefs of others. This country was brought up and had given birth to Christian faith. And those who came to join us must not enforce their own but abide to the host country that welcome them. Now they are demanding that we follow their own, and complain about ours because it offends them?
The radical DEMS welcome them, embrace their ideology, and remove our own to please them. But removing ours also offends us. Who is to prevail here? Those who came to join us or those whose ancestors have embraced the true spirit of the Christian faith.
The radical DEMS, have been dismantling the image of Christ or any symbol of Christ in public places because they said, they offend some people. When the government removes Christ or God from the public places that has been there for centuries. All of a sudden, these new emerged non-Christians want to eliminate the very foundation of our country.

Jesus is not a socialist. Remember that when he said, those who don't work, don't eat? 2 Thessalonnians 3-10.

What is going on now in the US is also going on in Europe and Canada. The conspiracy of power grab in order to achieve their Marxist or c*******t style, another name for the liberal brains theory. The main objective is not social justice, it is all about power. We are now experiencing in the US, these indoctrinated kids in public schools, now almost in revolution desiring for this type of government, not aware that it will end them to being subjected to s***ery and miseries.

https://townhall.com/columnists/justinhaskins/2019/01/28/americas-public-schools-have-become-socialist-indoctrination-factories-n2540323
Socialism and power is the ultimate desires of the democrat primary candidates, Warren, Sanders, and the rests of them, are about power grab. The end results of their planned policy like universal healthcare, is just a window dressing to deceive the people making them believe in equal justice for all. No, the end result of that will totally destroy our heritage of free enterprise, but power grabbed by the elected leader. It ends up like c*******m. Socialism is a 1st stage to c*******m. All countries of the world running on socialism turned out to poverty, r**ts, r*******n among the people, and now millions coming to our shores to share the free market economy that brought us to the limelight of prosperity.

There is no such thing as e******y. Our DNA's are not equal. There are the dumb, stupid brains, the i***ts, the lazy, the beautiful, and the brilliant people whose minds are productively innovative and creative. These are the ones who desire to achieve because their brains dictates to them to do so.
Now since these people have worked and achieved, the liberal brains call them "r****t"

So those craving for equal justice must work and produce and not rely on government ration because time will come that the goods are consumed, unless you work to replenish them .

Forever hand outing for an easy life does end in misery. Their brains have been programmed for that. Now kids in public schools are trained that way. Indoctrinated by liberal professors. The leaders' desire is to control them at the end.

You missed another one of those golden opportunities...... Jesus took bread and meat and created more. Created is paramount to understand since only God can create. There is nothing material in this world that was not created by God for the benefit of mankind. Go eat your fish and bread and be thankful. Jesus gave the bread and fish to His Apostles to distribute. What do you make of this?
