On the news today I heard Republican after Republican say they thought asking a foreign power to investigate a political opponent was wrong they didn't think it was an impeachable offense. Of course, the accusations against Trump are a bit more than that--bribing a foreign power to investigate a political opponent. If bribery isn't bad enough to be impeachable what makes Nixon's crimes bad enough that he should have been impeached?
And I realize the Nixon resigned before he was impeached but did we get the wrong man?
