That's exactly what the Bush dynasty does too. Hiding behind patriotism it was pretty easy for the shrub to get the Patriot Act passed. When we weren't watching he converted to Islam. I don't know why he took part in JFK's assassination, just that he was there. Their ends justifying the means is why I rarely read kevyyn's posts. A couple of others are about the same, just parrot last night's CNN.

Sadly the "civil liberty" part seems to be missing from liberals these days, in favor of "fall in line or be marginalized and persecuted".
