Have you noticed how liberals like to try and mask their intentions by using words like patriotism, the constitution, honor, etc? Do not be fooled into thinking this is who they are. They are just acting out of the Saul Alinsky playbook "Rules For Radicals" and in particular "Of Means And Ends." Those are just words to them, just like truth. They mean nothing. To them it is always the end justifies the means.

Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed, and equality before the law.
Modern liberalism in the United States is the dominant version of liberalism in the United States. It combines ideas of civil liberty and equality with support for social justice and a mixed economy.

It may be the stated philosophy to win converts, but it is not its real goal and practice. Your words prove my earlier post.

Liberalism in that sense is the exact opposite of the leftest progressives form of liberalism that the Democrat party is so fond of claiming is true American liberalism of the same nature as the founders of America.

What I see as the difference between liberals and conservatives: To a liberal, a person is a non-entity and the property of the government which can better dictate the details of their lives. To a conservative, each person is made in the image of his Creator and endowed with free volition to accomplish what they can and the fruits of their labor belongs to them.

"The end justifies the means?" You have a president who has pissed all over the rule of law and you people approve of his actions 100 percent. Why? Because to conservative's the end justifies the means. As for patriots...no one who loves this country would support someone like Donald J Trump. But you do. Why? Because you believe in ideology over country and no one who is patriot can do that! This isn't about calling yourself a patriot and then hiding behind that but being a patriot and letting your actions, not your words, say that you are.

Congress approved that money for Ukraine as part of OUR national security and Donald Trump put his political interests ahead of the interests of our country as well as our allies. You support this so don't talk to me about patriotism...

If we were all that interested in equality, there would be no "special interest groups"
