A two million dollar fine, why not prison?

Donald Trump has been ordered by a judge to pay $2m in damages for illegally using funds intended for charity to boost his 2016 p**********l e******n campaign.

The US president admitted to personally misusing the money, according to New York’s attorney general, despite having previously denied any wrongdoing.

The humiliating fine adds to Trump’s woes that include several investigations into allegations that he is using public office for self-enrichment, as well as an impeachment inquiry by the House of Representatives.

The attorney general in New York filed a lawsuit last year alleging Trump and his three eldest children - Don Jr, Ivanka and Eric - broke campaign finance laws in 2016 by using the Donald J Trump Foundation’s tax-exempt status “as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr Trump’s business and political interests”.

Trump of course claims he couldn't be prosecuted if he shot someone on Fifth Avenue.

There was “a shocking pattern of illegality involving the Trump Foundation – including unlawful coordination with the Trump p**********l campaign, repeated and willful self-dealing, and much more,” the suit proved.

On Thursday, Justice Saliann Scarpulla ordered the Trump family to pay $2m to a group of not-for-profit organizations as part of a settlement with the New York state attorney general’s office after “persistent” violations of charities law.

The question is, why isn’t this scumbag who stole donations intended for children suffering from cancer sent to prison?

Don't you find it the least bit challenging that all these woes emerged after Trump became President? I bet you don't remember Obama having to pay finds for campaign finance violations but then why would that interest you?

Apparently, nobody is looking into the Clinton’s $84 million worth of illegal campaign contributions.

No, Scarpulla isn't and never was an Obama federal appointee. She was appointed by the state.

Howdy Slats. Do we happen to know Justice Scarpulla's judicial philosophy and political party? Too often we see the Left Judge Shopping.

Thanks, sometimes it is tiring to point out to these morons that the sun rises in the east and then entertain their foolishness when they demand proof of the obvious.

Why hasn't this been reported on every news agency on the planet Kevie. After all, this should be HUGE news for you never-Trumpers and should be able to add fuel to the fire for the f**e impeachment hearings.
