The premise Representative Schitt has advanced that they are shielding the "whistleblower's" identity to protect him from retaliation by the president is preposterous.

Denying the House Republicans the right to question him in person, since seeing someone's face when they testify helps a questioner, and the v**ers who view the hearings on T.V. determine the veracity of his answers and other statements.

This talking through a lawyer without even seeing the subject of testimony reeks of pure bulls**t, given the gravity of an impeachment investigation.

And this is an accuser, briefed in advance by Mr. Schitt and the left side of his committee, another in a long line of deceptions by Democrats.

It's funny how Dems can justify something that would have them screaming bloody murder if the GOP did the same thing.

"The t***h will set you free" is an old saying. However, many politicians would add "No matter how much it hurts the other party"

With all the testimony transcripts now being released, some even today as we speak, from Trump's State Department staff about their first hand knowledge of the state of affairs, the details and extent of the corrupt extortion DEAL that Trump and Giulliani conceived, detailed, attempted, perpetrated, successfully completed, we are WAAAAAY past whistling in the dark.

As you already pointed out, the whistleblowers testimony was a 2nd to 3rd hand account. Since we now have first-hand testimony by pertinent players, including the President's own words as well as the purported transcript of the call described by the Whistleblower, their testimony is essentially superseded, unnecessary and moot.

The only reason you want to dig them up is to have some distraction from the more damaging red meat evidence being laid out last week in private hearings and released this week as published transcripts.

You're now singing in pitch black darkness.

This whole whistleblower debacle was initiated when the Demoproggies got news of Giuliani cruzing around the Ukraine.

What was the theme of Giuliani's little holiday in the Ukraine?... "You might ask"..(only if you're seeking the whole t***h though).. but ol Rudy was digging up the Ukrainian corruption during and after the 2016 e******n.

The Biden mole popped up, and hi ho the Dario a hunting we will go.

Schitf, Schitf his pants and Brennan called to the front..."Anyone who even thinks they know something, now is the time to come forward"

You're a pretty fair thinker. Why did Brennan feel the need to say what he did?

Dem House Impeachment will be completed in 2020... Exactly when is unknown, but... "The Die Is Cast"... No matter what is said and done from now till the Impeachment V**e, the V**e will be taken, and Pres Trump will be Impeached...

But just as the Dem House Impeachment is inevitable, so is the GOP Senate finding Pres Trump "Not Guilty" and therefore not removed from Office a "Foregone Conclusion"...

And this tells me that Pres Trump will win Re-E******n by winning the very same 30 States he won in 2016... The difference will be how many Dem House Seats in Districts he won in 2016 will v**e a Straight-line GOP in 2020...

There is zero doubt.

With the new news about the Obama State department and the previously denied investigation into Burisma, we can watch them do pretty much exactly that. It should be interesting!

Trump knew there was no collusion and that it was a witch hunt, and had a country to run, no time to play political games. While the Democrats were wasting the taxpayer's time and hard earned tax money on purely political bulls**t (their 24/7 specialty), President Trump was busy doing great things for America and the American people.

Do you really want to know what this whole doomed impeachment circus is about, Mr. Lone?

Just put yourself in the place of the Democratic Party leadership.

For the last 2 years and 11 months, your party has contributed absolutely nothing to the v****g public. They have spent all their (the taxpayers') time and money on a baseless, unending "get the president" witch hunt. They've attempted to obstruct his every agenda and refused to make any realistic effort to work with him, even on policies they have long agreed with.

Meanwhile, despite that, President Trump has piled up a long list of successes that the Democrats can claim zero credit for being involved in. Zero, zilch, nada.

Hence while Trump and the Republicans will have a long list of glowing resume items to cite during the coming campaign season, the Democratic candidates will have nothing but promises to offer.

Now factor in the current field of Democrat primary candidates: Forget Biden, he's got too much baggage -- that leaves maybe three other possibilities, all of whom "promise" mathematically far-fetched freebies for all that may appeal to a few under-educated welfare careerists and a few millenials who should know better, but not to the hard working majority of v**ers, also known as the middle class. None of their far left policy declarations will resonate with either the middle class nor with independent v**ers.

The Democrats have allowed theirs to become "The Party of AOC, Omar, Waters and Sanders" instead of maintaining a mainstream approach to politics as they did back in the JFK era. Even Bill Clinton makes the Dems' current primary field look like a cabal of bomb making l*****ts.

To compound their message that they have no clue as to the meaning of the word "electability," they have relegated the only candidate who might stand a chance against President Trump, Tulsi Gabbard, to the bottom of the pecking order.

You can remain inside your little bubble right through 3 November 2020 and be shocked and dismayed, you can continue believing the party lie line, or you can embrace reality.

The only reason for this desperate impeachment charade, which will fail just as the Mueller debacle failed, is that the Democrat leadership knows beyond any reasonable doubt that unless they can eliminate Donald Trump before the general e******n, they haven't got a chance of defeating him and he will serve a second term. 😎

It's almost like a spectator sport watching the Democratic Party self sabotage, playing its blatantly obvious "politics-first-and-last" games with the v**ers' time and money, and rather than even attempting damage control, compounding their mistakes as a matter of policy.

Overall, they make the pair in Dumb & Dumber look like master strategists.

You're exactly right Seth..but we've been paying attention for awhile and have realized how fubar our govt is... If you had to put a number on how many really understand how broken our govt is..and what is needed to fix it..how many truly 'get it'??? I have no idea of how many..but I don't think we're close to a majority.....yet. Concerning just the politicians though-not the supporters cause that's another issue-it's very clear every one of those politicians are on the same team in that they want NOTHING changed in how they operate behind their closed doors..neither side. If we can't change the entire Wash culture NOTHING is going to improve.
